Good price! Works great with the PS5 as well if you add a small, cheap heatsink.

If you're going to use one of these in a PS5, I would strongly recommend directly connecting them inside of a PC first on an internal M.2 nVMe port and using Samsung Magician to make sure it's got the latest firmware installed. I had to do this one one I picked up, prior to the firmware upgrade, the drive was reading on the PS5 at like 5500ish MB/s but after the upgrade, it went up to 65-6600Mb/s so it does make a difference.

  • This or https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/719819? Can it fit in this PC https://www.mwave.com.au/product/msi-nightblade-mi3012au-min… ? Would like to save few bucks if the other SSD one ok for OS main drive.

    • The gigabyte drive is probably fine. The extra $60 you pay isn't worth the extra speed unless you're really trying to hammer it.

  • Would this be good for the Synoplogy DS920+ ?

I'm trying to work out if I even need to fill those slots

its just a cache disk, you should get a cheap 1tb nvme for that usecase

    • 2TB is maybe risky & expensive - cached writes could be lost in case of power or reliability issues.
Adding memory will have more tangible impact. Use upgraded laptop memory if compatible.

  • If i plan to buy a new m/b and a new cpu the 13 series intel…would this ssd work on that new build?

    • +1

Yes it should. Also better to get the board with SSD heatsink or install a 3rd party one since it is running hot when copying file into.

  • Thanks
Got one for my new X1 Carbon

  • Good price too
Shopping express should honestly stop making eBay accounts though. I’m tired of it
How many accounts do they have now? 5? 6? I want to see listings from people other than them. Except all tech listings just gets flooded by them every sale. It feels more deceptive than amazon reseller listings tbh

  • Has anyone got the code to stick? Ive not used afterpay ever before. as i understand you just need to select afterpay as the payment option and then pop in the code under "Gift cards, vouchers, coupons". they keep telling me that its the wrong code.

  • Thanks OP, just grabbed one, good price, hard to resist :)

    • hi can you guide me on where to add the coupon code? I selected afterpay as the payment option, then popped in the code under "Gift cards, vouchers, coupons". they keep telling me that its the wrong code.

      • That's the correct method to add the coupon. Are you able to apply it to anything else? Try another browser

      • I'm having the same issue aswell.

Edit* got it working I forgot to change payment to afterpay.

  • Any 1tb models?

  • I replaced another 4.0 nvme with this in a laptop. I didn't expect it to be faster but it was. Web pages containing cached content started rendering instantly.

    • Did you reinstall windows when you did this?

      • New laptop with a fresh install of Windows. Tested apps. Then removed the nvme ssd with this one. Reinstalled windows and tested apps again.

  • Ryobi 1800W for $100, plus a rotating brush for cleaning the car. Paid for itself after a couple of months of weekly washing.

I think you may be lost my good man.

  • Thanks, finally grabbed one for the PS5

The price is gonna plunge as way more flash memories have been manufactured and the big names are trying to reduce stock such as Samsung. Imma hold for another while.
