Wow 30 rolls lasts 14 months?

      Damn 50% price increase 😬😬

      Work pooer.. well done!

    • I'm just about to place my first toilet paper order since "You last purchased this item on 16 Feb, 2020".

It was ordered as "Quilton 3 Ply Toilet Tissue (180 Sheets per Roll, 11x10cm), Pack of 45 (9 Pack x 5 = 45)". Somehow the order was doubled up and Amazon sent it twice. I had booked a return of the second delivery with them but then I started hearing about upcoming shortages due to what became known as Covid-19. I cancelled the return. Today is the first time buying toilet paper since then. And that's even given all the packs we gave away to family!

  • 4 ply?!

  • +1

What alternative is there to Quilton? I've notice it's quality isn't what it once was.

    • +2

      ALDI 3ply double length

      • +6

Aldi's is also made by Quilton. Same as the standard Quilton 3 ply, which I like. 3 sheets is enough to wipe and not break so that my finger does not touch my poo.

  • +3

These are great for people who push too hard and get breakage, but I prefer cottonelle as I find the ripples and softness clean better. TMI sorry

    • +8

It’s like I’m wiping a marker or something

      • +2

He has Aubrey Plaza in tears in that scene 🤣

    • Honestly, I agree with you. The ripples feels better for me too

    • +2

Does that come on more than 2 ply?

  • +8
    • +5

I like 4 ply now and then so I can see what it feels like to be the average $200k/year whirlpool user

      • +3

        With a high yield vehicle?

      • +2

R/AusFinance moderator checking in 😎, try 500k plus for our group. We use printed money to wipe ourselves.

Does anyone know why Kleenex from Amazon is too weak, breaks apart easily while from supermarkets like Coles and woollies it is much stronger

    • Not sure if troll post based on post meta…

      • Nah, it's an actual post. I just don't know why, do they just sell really old stock.

I also get the gold quilton from amazon when on special, and to me it's great but once in a while it also breaks. I have yet to try the exact same thing from supermarkets to see if they are different

      More Profit = Less Quality
Just ask Woolworths with their record breaking profits this year

  • 🤔 looks like they’ve removed the ability to transfer a movie in 40 seconds or less. Might have to pass on this.

    • +2

Might have to pass on this.

Does that mean you're buying this?

    You're welcome 😁

Holding out for five ply with actual gold in it.

  • Got 1 pack, try my first 4ply, thanks

Most expensive price in Camelcamelcamel price history. Why would you share this as deal?

  • +2

Just buy a bidet and no need for toilet paper anymore. Used them all around Europe and Asia and got one when we came back to Australia. Haven’t purchased any more toilet paper since. Also doing our little part for earth by not buying toilet paper.

    • -3

      Yuck

      • -2

Yeah I thought the same thing at first but if you are running and fall over into a big turds and it’s smudged all over your arm.
Would you wash it off or would you wipe the it off with toilet paper?
I would think smearing the turd more “Yuck” then washing it away.

    • How do you dry yourself after?

      • How do you dry your ass after the shower?

      • +1

wipe, bidet, wipe. simple. what's so hard? uses way less paper and more sanitary

      • A good quality bidet has warm water and a warm air dryer

    • If you don't wipe before using the bidet you're doing it wrong

  • Can't afford these due to inflation

    showing $28.58 for me now,

  • HODL!!!!!!!

This use to be in stock for as long as I remember. And this is normal price from Amazon as seller.

New trend - Put any tissue/papertowel as deal and ppl will get crazy and buy it, even if its not actually a deal. Next thing you know is - Its sold out!

This use to be in stock for as long as I remember

The world used to be free of pandemic as long as I remember… Things change though.

      • That's another catch, when you link all to pandemic.

Yes there is pandemic but come out of your delusional world its not 2021 anymore and yes unlike you what I say, I do my research.
Check it for yourself - same price in the last 4 months and always in stock, even if it gets out of stock, Amazon is good to restock it a couple of days time.

Good on you. Should get a nobel prize for ground breaking research.

          • @RSmith: hahaha, you are funny. My only point here was, these are not actually deals and now even you know it. Enjoy your rest of the weekend.

            • +1

@rkm: All good mate. You have a great rest of the weekend.
