Remember to use your Hiver card before they remove the cashback from 5pm EST 7 Sept onwards :)

  • +1

    Do these instantly sell out?

    • +1

Not the Netflix ones from my experience. You might have to try one or two stores if you are after a specific denomination sometimes.

  • I'm keen on a few Airbnb cards but I understand that bookings made with them are non refundable (which isn't a great thing these days). Anyone else know if this is accurate?

    • Don’t believe that’s true is it? I was under the impression that the gift card balance just goes back on your account if you cancel your reservation

    • How do you used Airbnb gift cards to pay for reservations? Say the cost for the stay is $980, do you get gift card value of $900 and pay the rest by credit card?

      • +1

Yep, you can pay the rest by credit card.

      • Yep.

    • +4

That's untrue. The gift vouchers add credit to your account. If you grt a refund from Airbnb, it will refunded in credits.

    • +3

Last month I bought 2000 aud in gift cards for my Airbnb at a 10% discount. Loaded it on my account without any problems.

When you get a refund they just recredit the balance unto your account. It is easier and faster than the normal payment system.

  • Im surprised you beat Dealbot to this.

  • Can I pay for the netflix card with my wooloworths egift card?

    • +3

      AFAIK, no.

      • If you select Gift Card as a payment method at a self checkout and then you scan, swipe or enter a gift card, you'll have an Item Not Allowed error pop up on the EFTPOS terminal.

      • If you go to a standard checkout and ask to pay using a Gift Card, you'll either be told "no" by the checkout operator, or the checkout operator will let you try and you'll get the same error message as the one you get at self checkouts.

      • If you try to use Everyday Pay as a payment method for purchasing gift cards at Woolworths, you will get an Item Not Allowed error and you should be sent back to the regular payment screen, because you cannot use Everyday Pay as a payment method when purchasing gift cards under any circumstances.

    • Presumably you cant buy any gift cards with Woolworths gift cards? I will be getting AirBnb gift cards tomorrow and I have a Woolworths gift card to use.

      • +1

You can use the Coles gift mastercard though.

  • YASS!! Need those qantas points to maintain Qantas Club Plus membership.

  • Can someone please clarify how many qantas points this equates to? Ie if I buy $1000 worth of airbnb gift cards, how many qantas points would I get?

    • $1000 will get you 10,000 Qantas points.

@WookieMonster - can you confirm what retailers are included on the Him card?

    • +4

      It's in the OP's description.

I also checked the Ultimate Him gift card page (which is the source of truth) last night and there was no change in the list of participating retailers from the one posted in the description. This webpage is linked in OP's description too.

  • No more menulog on Ultimate Eats?? Did they remove menulog recently?

    • +2

Menulog has not been working with Ultimate Eats for quite some time now. I bought 500$ worth cards in February with a similar offer and could not use it on Menulog. I mailed the customer support and they mentioned that they were having issues with Menulog and removed it from their website.

    • +2

Deliveroo and Menulog were removed from the Ultimate Eats gift card page between 25 June and 02 July.

I’ve seen multiple reports that Deliveroo’s and Menulog’s acceptance of Ultimate gift cards was very inconsistent over the last 11 months or so, so I’m not surprised they have been formally removed (at least according to the Ultimate gift card website).

      • +2

Thanks for confirming. Funnily enough, i've used part of my ultimate eats giftcard on menulog about a month ago and it worked. i'll give it a try again next time and see if it still works.

      • FYI I just used an Ultimate Eats physical giftcard to order on Menulog. I guess it can still work with menulog!

        • +1

Not surprised. I noticed last week that Menulog and Deliveroo were re-added to the Ultimate Eats gift card page.

I think Ultimate gift cards were working behind the scenes with Menulog and Deliveroo to ensure people can reliably redeem Ultimate gift cards on Menulog and Deliveroo for once…

Any gift cards which can get me discounted Oporto?

  • No deal for ebay?

  • Has anyone purchased an Ultimate Him Gift Card to use for binge. I have redeemed the binge gift card but binge is declining it.
I contacted binge support who said they’ll look into it and get back to me within 2-5 days.
Just wondering if the problem is unique to me or if anyone is experiencing it as well.

    • +2

A couple of people last week were having issues with redeeming Kayo and BINGE gift cards on their accounts after exchanging their Ultimate Him gift cards for Streamotion gift cards.

It sounds like your problem is not unique.

    • +1

Had same problem, contacted support thru chat, they verified it was me by sms and asked for a screenshot of the card, it took a couple of days but the funds were applied to my account

      • I might contact them again. They never asked for the card details. They did verify my identity through Sms though.

  • Does anybody know how long the bonus points take to apply? I bought 2 x $100 HIM gift cards this morning plus a birthday card but I've only received the 2 points for the bday card, nothing else.

    • Which Him gift cards did you purchase?

Did you purchase the Ultimate Him gift card (which is part of this deal), or the TCN HIM gift card (which is not part of this deal)?

      • Ultimate HIM - just double checked. But it hasn't applied.

        • Good. I became concerned when you wrote Him in capital letters, because that is how TCN brands their Him gift card!

My personal experience is that if the bonus points from a gift card deal at Woolworths do not appear on the purchase receipt nor appear on your account as soon as the transaction is finalised, you will never automatically receive the points, no matter how long you wait. You will need to contact Everyday Rewards to have the points manually credited to your account. If you get a nice customer service agent, they will immediately credit the missing points, but most customer service agents will tell you to wait 14 business days from your purchase, because that is what is written in the terms and conditions of this deal.

          • +1

@WookieMonster: Oh sorry - yeh I think I just wanted to highlight (would have made more sense if I bolded it) that I had bought the him card. Thanks for your help, I'll get in contact.

      • same happened to me, no points in my account. Have you been able to sort this with Woolworths?

    • it's instant usually, and they are transferred to Qantas by the time go you back to your car (if you drove to the shops:p)

  • The gift cards available until 6th Sept or do we need to deem them before 6th Sept to avail 20x rewards points?

    • +2

you don't need to use it before 6th. 20x points are awarded to your at the point of purchase.

fyi, I just brought some Airbnb GC and my 20x points is already available on the same day.

  • Anyone know if Airbnb gift cards are selling quick?

    • +1

Going as fast as house prices are dropping and interest rates are rising

  • Is this still running? What does Airbnb? I'm looking to book a night.

    • until Tuesday 6th included

  • They're not wrong about the up to 14 days. Just bought a Netflix gift card and bonus points did not show up immediately

    • +2

The Netflix one's I bought tonight haven't shown up yet however Stan bought at the same time did. Airbnb one's a few days ago came straight up.

  • +2

I just bought $250 Netflix this arvo. No points awarded at normal checkout so cancelled and swapped to self serve. Same thing when I paid. Called EDR who said to wait the 14 business days per T&C and a team will manually do it in that time. Every other promo I’ve had awards them at the checkout before you pay so not sure why this one didn’t. Set a reminder and will have to call again on 15th day if not awarded. What an annoying process.

    • Same happened to me today, i guess ill wait the 14 business days first.

      • thnxx yall this has put me off buying, enough

  • Has anyone bought Swap food delivery and received bonus points? I picked one up today ($50) but didn't get any points, might have to wait till post 14 business days before chasing up.

Also noted that catalogue mentions Food Delivery, but the banner in store featured Swap Celebration instead (although description mentioned Swap Food Delivery).

  • Does anyone know how much credit you can have loaded on your Netflix account?

  • I bought 2x Netflix cards last Sunday, and still showing 0 points

  • Also bought 2 netflix cards and no points, still 2 days until 14 days. I'll try contacting them at that time.

    • I bought 2x$50 Netflix cards on 02/09 as well. Still waiting!

      • Same for a $50 Netflix purchased on 3/9

  • Still waitinggg…

    • Still waiting too

  • has anyone received the points yet?

    • Nope. It's actually 14 business days; for me that's not until this Friday

      • Apparently they have maintenance going on now, hopefully that's related. Also still waiting - bought a year's worth of Netflix (4x$50) since these deals are less common than they used to be.

  • Still waiting. Less inclined to buy from Woolies with these sort of promos if we have to wait practically three weeks for points

    • In my experience within the last couple of years, any Everyday Rewards points you earn from gift card deals at Woolworths or BIG W are only ever earned at the checkout, and you will be notified of this when you:

      • Check the points counter as soon as you move to the payment screen, and/or
      • Get a message popping up on the screen after going to the payment screen saying you have earned another reward.

I never had points from gift card deals within the last couple of years automatically added to my account after the transaction was completed. In other words, I never had points automatically added a few hours later or the next day or the next week.

If you bought a gift card as part of an advertised gift card deal, but the points were never added at the time you purchased the gift card, it means one of two things:

      • The gift card you purchased was never intended to be part of this deal (which would usually happen because there was a misprint in the catalogue).
      • Everyday Rewards forgot to program their system to automatically credit you with the correct number of bonus points for when you purchased a gift card as part of an advertised gift card deal.

14 business days is unfortunately the standard waiting period for points from in-store gift card deals at Woolworths. Everyday Rewards staff have told me it is also the standard waiting period for points from in-store gift card deals at BIG W, but this is currently not actually included in the terms of those deals, so Everyday Rewards staff cannot reasonably tie you to a 14 business day waiting period in that situation!

      • I bought a $50 Netflix gift card as per the catalogue offer. There was nothing about $50 values being excluded from the offer.

        • +1

I strongly suspect someone over at Everyday Rewards forgot to program their systems so that a $50 Netflix gift card would automatically earn 1000 Everyday Rewards points for this deal. It unfortunately happens more frequently than you’d think.

Coles/Flybuys are definitely more reliable when it comes correctly crediting bonus points from gift card deals to a Flybuys account.

          • +1

@WookieMonster: Ugh. Guess I'll contact Woolies Rewards via Facebook Messenger next week.

            • @kerfuffle: They want to speak to the account holder (my dad), even though I gave all the right details. I am not going to bother my dad (where English is like his third or fourth language) to call up Woolies to scab $5 of points.

  • Got my missing points credited today after speaking with a customer rep on chat.

Had to provide them the promotion date for them to verify.

    • +1

      Yup same here.
Chat had a 20min wait time but got points in the end

  • +1

Contacted chat and got 4500 points with $200 purchase

  • +1

I just chased up the points via chat as well. I had bought 2 x $50 Netflix cards on 02/09 so was chasing 2000 points. Points manually credited during the chat. I wonder how many people don't check these things and have missed out on their points.

  • Same here, rang up customer service and had the points added to my account as "gesture of goodwill" :/

This is my first time having an issue with bonus points, but definitely something to keep in mind for future offers.

  • I bought both Stan and Netflix vouchers under this deal. Stan x20 bonus was applied instantly but not Netflix. I used online chat yesterday to raise it and they gave me the 20x for the Netflix vouchers plus 1000 points. While annoying to have to chase them up at least they fixed it without arguing about it (they also fixed two other issues of missing points on the same chat - I think the agent was pleased to see the back of me!) Having the online receipts and screen shots of the offer made it easy to talk them through it

  • My points eventually showed up it seems. A manual transaction of 1000 points was applied to my (dad's) account yesterday.
