Be aware.

Quite a few of the flights require a layover of 24hrs. Prepare to be waiting that out in the airport.

Hong Kong hasn’t reopened from Covid travel restrictions yet, you’re required to hotel quarantine for 3 days before self isolating for another 4. Might change in November.

Online forums are showing CP as unreliable for connecting flights out of HK due to Covid impacts.

I've flown them before in Premium economy to London prior to Covid. Wouldn't fly them again.

      I've done some long transits in hkg (by choice) and found it pretty decent if you're prepared. Lots of areas including ling benches without arms in between, charging points, variety of food options and large bathrooms for changing etc. I'd prefer to transit and hang there for 12 hours than Melbourne anyway.

Cheap but don't forget it's the middle of winter. Awful time to go, unless you like cold and flu.
