Want to get some. Great for luggage, dogs, and toddlers!

    Never lose your toddler again!

    • No sequel to Baby's Day Out?

    • the fastest "home alone" sequel.

HIghly recommend these. My husband was constantly misplacing his keys and because we have newer iphones it can tell us the direction the item is in down to the cm. Just yesterday he put his keys into a basket of washing neither of us had intentions of putting away, and we probably wouldn't have found them for a while. Airtag saved the day!

Bought them from Costco website same price too a while back but out of stock at the moment.

    Nationwide?

I have one in my car! Easy to track where you parked unless its in a multi-storey ๐Ÿ˜œ

    • Even the Aliens motion sensors couldnโ€™t really tell verticality.

    • I do the same. One of the best personal car trackers on the market.
I even put the Airtag behind plastic panel to make it harder to be reached to if it makes some ringing sounds.

    • +4

You realise Google maps and Apple maps track your parked car once it disconnects from BT right? Itโ€™s done this for years on iOS

      • +2

Yeah, although I guess if someone nicked your car this would be invaluable

  • +2

I misplace my keys daily. These have been so handy

  • +2

If you are in the apple eco-system, I'd say they are a super convenient addition.

I had to go for a tile for my wallet (I misplace it more than one would expect) due to it being the only option owning no Apple devices, and whilst decent I would go for an AirTag in an instant if I had access.

  • Good for kids as well

I love these. I just wish you can share AirTags with someone else like a partner.

    • +6

      You can share a partner?

      • +2

Sure my wife's bf shares my wife with me…

        • Mine won't agree :( Doesn't want any more people… 69 is already too much!

            @Matt P: Will Smith??! Wow that's a smack in the face…

    Love these air tags
My only complain is the alert sound is too soft
There's are few times where I can't hear the alert sound when my key placed inside a bag

  • +6

just traveled recently. i can say, this is one of the best investment we purchased for overseas travel.
you can actually know if your luggage was left behind. =)

    • Absolutely! It's pretty fun to get a notice that you "left your baggage behind" when checking it in then later get a notification that it's with you when it's loaded onto the plane.

Also handy to check it's landed & offloaded in the same place as you as well as when leaving it in hotel.

      • don't need to stand near the luggage carousel waiting, just wait for the alert

  • What's the normal price?
Also is there an android equivalent that is as good?

    • +1

Also interested in equivalent Android version.

I think your best bet is tile, unless someone says otherwise

      • I've done a lot of research. Tile is the best bet, nowhere near as strong a network as AirTags, but still function for my main purpose (which is finding my wallet that I have misplaced in a tired blur after work).

    Another option….

    Price reduced…. $129…. Westfield direct…
    Whom haven't got Costco membership
or don't know anyone who has Costco membership

Thanks. Westfield direct is now out of stock.

Aren't the Samsung Smart Tags better as after watching the Online Reviews the Samsung Smart Tags allow manual refresh of location data for instant and precise location tracking whereas the Apple Air Tags don't allow this and can take 5+ mins between location updates

  • Has anyone seen these at other Costco stores?

    • Not in Moorabin

    • +1

Saw and bought them at Auburn NSW

  • Going on specials, May be next Gen Air Tag is on its way soon.

    • +1

Doubt it, the big Apple event was this past week and nothing about new AirTags was announced.

    • you do realise it's pretty hard to further improve air tags right? unless they come up with rechargeable magsafe types… then there would be still more people like me rushing to buy replaceable batteries versions.

  • How well do these work with Android?

Do you get directional finding with new enough Bluetooth devices?

  • +1

Standing in Costco dock lands atm - was just advised that they sold out of air tags about two hours ago.

    • Thanks marked as out of stock now

  • So I got a set of 4. Turns out the product is next to useless as you cannot family share it for some bizarre reason. Have a tag on the dog and if anyone but me takes her for a walk the thing starts beeping to alert them an air tag is tracking them. WTF? do not buy
