Price has been jacked (more proof)

Cameras are currently $136.19 each (your own post), and the NVR is $280 (your own listing) = $824.76

    • +6

Yep, I saw the same thing

Posts like this should be removed and OP should be put into time-out

      Price has been jacked

      😲

Rep and store should be banned

Hi, 811A at 136.19 was a deal price. And it expired.

    • +1

Have 4x cameras, ready to checkout from that AE listing, for AU$551.84

Don't be deceptive and try to excuse your price jacking.

      • -2

Hi, this price can't be a Reolink 4K system.

        • It's for 4 of the cameras, the deal which you claim is expired

The NVR is a further $280 on your ebay listing

Those 2 combined are cheaper than this 'deal'

          • +5

@spackbace: I see you lowered the price as a result

            Keeping my neg because:
            a) don't price jack, it's clear you have so you could show a bigger discount
            b) you tried to debate the pricing of your own AliExpress store
            c) you only reduced the price because it was pointed out to you, not because you realised it was overpriced already

          • -1

@spackbace: Note: if you buy them separately, you need to buy 4 internet cables.

  • More expensive with ebay+??? woohoo finally not having it pays off…

      • Hi, this bundle (RLK8-811B4-A) is an upgrade from the previous bundle (RLK8-520B2D2) that the eBay listing history is based on.

        • It is the same listing.

          • @jv: This Listing RLK8-811B4-A is the upgrade model of the original kit (RLK8-520B2B2-5MP, Out of production), the same link, but different products.

            • @dealbest: Can you tell us what the differences are?

              • +1

@cyssero: When RLK8-520B2D2-5MP was out of production, we revised all pictures, title, description and price into current kit RLK8-811B4-A. But the purchase history of RLK8-520B2D2 will still exist.

Well, RLK8-520B2D2 shares the same specs of RLK8-410B4-5MP.https://reolink.com/au/product/rlk8-410b4/. 811B4-A is 4K with Person & Vehicle detection. 811B4-A has a much more expensive price.

  • +1

The 811A is pretty much their best all around camera. It is a little big but has a good field of view, spotlights that can be programmed to only come on when a person/vehicle/pet is detected (you can also control the brightness of them), 2 way audio and a good amount of zoom if you need to frame what is important.

  • Hi OP. Can these cameras be attached to the eaves? (I.e. ceiling mounted rather than wall mounted). Also, if I use the ethernet cable to power the cameras does it still need to be connected to power as well (I noticed there are two connectors to the cameras, network and power)?

    • +1

Hi, it can be mounted both on the wall and ceiling. And the ethernet cable provides power and internet at the same time.

      • Thank you for letting me know. May I enquire what the power cable is used for then?

        • May I enquire what the power cable is used for then?

If you are not using PoE, then you need to run a separate power cable to the camera's DC jack.

          • @DoctorCalculon: I see. And then it would save video to an SD card only right, there would be no network capabilities?

            • @Lizard Spock: I believe you can still have network capabilities without using POE. The only change is that the power is through the DC socket instead of the network cable.

            • @Lizard Spock: Elyxar is correct. If you don't have the ability to supply POE you can still run a network cable but provide power via the DC plug.

  • OP I have a question; Is it possible to connect a 4G modem to the NVR for installation of the system in a remote area, and will this provide mobile 4G access to each camera (PoE), or the NVR, and be accessible via the Reolink app on a mobile phone?

    • Hi, we don't support that at the moment.

      • Which part of the question don't you support? Access via the reolink app or the NVR/cameras not being compatible with a 4G modem?

        • Hi, after confirming with the technical team, yes, you can connect a 4G modem to the NVR and access the cameras and nvr via Reolink APP.
