    But why?

    • Nostalgia.

The greatest d-pad of all time.

    • You're gonna have to explain yourself.

Need n64 for the upcoming games!

    • +1

They have been OOS for ages even before the latest announcement of games :'(

  • Wonder if these controllers are still indestructible as my original SNES controllers went through alot of punishment on many games when I was a kid :)

    • +3

They are quite good. Haven't punished them in any way so can't comment on the indestructibility. I have 3 and all are going solid

    • Not the shoulder buttons. Both of mine broke from playing sf2.

      • +1

        The originals or this version?

I always configure medium kick and medium punch for the shoulders, as I use them less than lights/heavys.

  • +3

Just coz people selling it at 2-3x the price doesnt mean people are buying.

  • +2

8bitdo versions are also around this price

    • I'm also wondering why one would buy this India's of an 8bitdo one

      • *instead

    • +1

You can't use the wireless 8bitdo SNES pad unless you're using it on a real SNES or using an additional adapter. I think they used to sell a Bluetooth version but they don't anymore.

      • +1

The Wireless 8bitdo controllers are all BT. I have four SF30 Controllers and all connect to my Switch just fine.

For anyone who cares about input latency, this controller is not to great according to this database. It weighs in at 16ms latency over Bluetooth, which isn't the end of the world for most people, but for comparison the DualShock 4 and DualSense measure in at 6ms.

I'd still like to get one of these controllers myself, but it pisses me off that you have to have a Nintendo online subscription to buy one. I haven't used my Switch for months and I would get no value out of the subscription whatsoever. Nintendo can be real shit heels sometimes.

Thanks, but in my 40s my reactions feel like multiple seconds in games these days (hang on, which button?…)

Hopefully, it’s not that bad for driving.

    • +1

Just ask a friend to order or if u want, I’m happy to help ordering it for u at that price. I think most people ordering this more for nostalgic reason, rather than quality

  • +2

These are good but still think the 8bitdo controllers are much better, and can be used on switch or PC.

    • Could not agree more.

  • Does this work on actual super Nintendos?

    • +1

Yes, with the 8bitdo Retro Receiver

      • -1

Right, so not really. (I already have a couple of 8bitdo controllers and adapters, but it would be amazing if Nintendo re-released OG SNES controllers with the appropriate cable).

        • I'm honestly interested how you thought it would work without some sort of an adapters when it only has Bluetooth and USB, neither of which the SNES has.

  • I'm tempted to buy two but the fact these are $39.95 each and free shipping is over $80 is very irritating…. any tips, buy 3 sell 1 later? Guessing Nintendo has nothing for 10 cents!

  • +1

    Just buy an 8bitdo

  • Super Nintendo Entertainment System Controller

is this only for switch or can be used with original SNES too ?

    • +1

Answered three comments above your question.

  • Is this Bluetooth?

  • i have a 8bitdo SF30 Pro. Prefer to use that as it also has analogs and L2 R2 buttons for other non SNES games.

  • Anyone have issues with payment being declined? Was my first order on the store and payment was unsuccessful with 3 different credit cards. No real explanation other than to contact their support if problem persists. ive lodged a ticket with them but suspect they will take their sweet time. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues.
