          Not thinking about Margaret Thatcher

      • +6

        Was she disappointed?

        • Why would she be? She was thinking of her true love, England.

    • Mine came instantly as well. Got the deal for $137 as described.

Still haven't received my order from this Digidirect/Westfield deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/724081

    • +1

3 weeks is a little long no doubt. Keep us posted pls.

    • Have you contacted them? A few orders from the previous deal were cancelled.

    • +1

Me neither. I contacted them and they said the shipment came in on Monday and is being dispersed to various locations for c&c or delivered. Said they can't guarantee a time

      • +10

they should have put an airtag on their shipment so they could track it :(

    • +1

I received it about 2-3 weeks back. It looks like shipped from local westfield.

    • +1

An update…. i ordered this morning and have just received auspost notification. A few others have too. Maybe the previous deal had issues because of the Westfield link? Anyway hope yours arrives soon!

      • I just got the email that mine is ready for c&c, yay!

    • +1

I picked mine today - click and collect at Westfield Parramatta.

  • +1

Thanks OP! Got some for upcoming trips.

    • Qantas?

      • +4

Nah, even the airtags can't save your luggage when you fly Qantas.

  • +6

Digidirect and their support team are awful.

I've been trying to cancel my order for almost a week now and they keep bouncing me between departments, saying they can't escalate me - all their responses are half-baked from a script.

If you can find a similar price from anywhere else, I'd highly recommend avoiding these guys, couldn't imagine the loop holes for warranty.

    • +3

They're authorised Apple resellers, so you'd take them (or any other Apple product you buy from them) directly to Apple with your invoice.

  • +6

DIGIDIRECT the store that everything is always ON STOCK

  • Are these on sale anywhere else? Trying to avoid DD

    • you can try price matching with jbhifi?

      • Jb don’t sell these and haven’t since they were pulled for sale regarding battery concerns

        • Thats a shame. I recently price matched something else and it went well.

  • Subscribed to the newsletter but didn't receive any code, just an email saying "You have been successfully subscribed to our newsletter."

    • Same here,

      • my code went to the junk emails

      • Wait there would be a third email after an hour or so

    • Subscribed to the newsletter but didn't receive any code

      I got two.

      • +3

I got mine already and ordered a pack. Things we do to fly with Qantas

          For me it's Jetstar….

Bought a 4 pack from Amazon for $149 and had considered returning and buying through this deal instead to save but after reading the comments about DD delays and bad customer service, I don't think that's worth the $12 saving IMO.

    • Is there any point in spending all that time & effort for the sake of $12?

Even if they were on sale with $50 off I’d take convincing to go through all that.

  • https://www.westfield.com.au/shop/product/2435/68f33502-de8f… from the last post finally emailed me today to pick up

Looks like wireless1 have jacked their price up too

I ordered one of these 4-packs from them a year or so back, in an OzB deal using a Klarna coupon.
They still hadn't arrived months later despite being in the AusPost app with a job number. I took it up with DigiDirect, who claimed it was shipped (look at the Auspost job number!) and thus not their problem - take it up with AusPost or make a card claim.

I bounced back and forth between Auspost, Klarna and the bank for a bit and it wasn't until I showed DD the screenshot that AusPost had generated for me from their workflow system (that DD had generated a shipment job number, but had not initiated a pickup date) that they finally rolled over.

Went on for months and was a huge timesink over a relatively low amount… I wouldn't buy from them again unless I was in-store and had the goods in my hands immediately.

  • These guys hand out coupons all willy nilly; put something in your cart and a while later bam $20 coupon in your inbox, buy something and a few weeks later bam another $20 coupon requesting you to review

  • FYI it's this price (147) at my Apple EPP

    • +1

      What's Epp?

    • its A$148.50 for me

      • You’re right. I was too lazy to check. $148.50

        • If I had access to someone’s EPP, and used it to buy something in my account, what would happen??

  • Waiting for the $10 off code :(, eager to buy

    • +4

      use voucher code: SORETO10

I bought these from DigiDirect on the 12th Sept with express delivery.
On the 16th Sept I contacted them asking why they had not been shipped yet and was advised they are on back order with no idea when they'll be in stock.
I cancelled the order on the 16th, was told the refund would be expediated within one business day.

Two weeks later I'm still waiting for the refund.

  • ugh this seller looks crap…… can anyone recommend the next-best seller for airtags?

  • Are they good for tracking your car ?

  • If anyone wants $10 off

Orrdered from them once claiming to have stock but they never did.

  • brought a 4 pack from costco $125 3 weeks ago! thought that was normal price 😳

    • -4

Do you just subscribe to things or get a paid membership for a "normal price"?

  • +2

Thanks OP! Needed some for the upcoming family holiday. I ordered a few minutes after you posted and just got a message from AusPost to say they are at the sorting facility already.

  • +1

Ordered in the evening (around 4 pm) got a message from auspost as well, might arrive by tomorrow, thats some fast shipping :o

As someone who has used AirTags while travelling, It’s quite handy to have each one engraved with something different. Even just a random different emoji. So you can tell which AirTag you’re looking at etc when your pulling it out. Personally, I’ll cough up the extra cash to get them custom engraved from Apple.

  • +2

Anyone want $10 off without giving away your email address use this code: SORETO10

  • Id pay a little extra and purchase from elsewhere

  • Wish this was compatible with Android… Hooefuy Google make their own

  • +2

Just buy it from Apple Store, i bought a 4 pack from Apple Doncaster store for $148.50. Told them about the digidirect deal and Apple can price beat their(Apple Price) price by 10%

  • +1

ordered on 28th … received today (30th). Sydney

    • Same. Was surprised it was this fast.

  • +1

Ordered yesterday at 2:30pm. Delivered this morning.

  • Not listed at $157 on the site.

  • +2

Just got an email this morning saying they’ve over sold and they don’t have an ETA from their supplier. Offering a $50 voucher for inconvenience and patience. At this stage I’m probably happy to wait, apparently if I don’t cancel my order within a month, I get to keep the $50 voucher.

    • Received the same email but only offered $10 voucher…

  • Now Price is showing $157

  • Update: got mine delivered this morning, had bought them on 29th Night from this deal.

  • What a joke!
I received an email that airtags are out of stock, even though the website is showing stock at a higher price. However, I received a $50 promo code as compensation. I tried to purchase another item from DigiDirect with the code but payment would not go through and now the code is invalid. I have tried contacting DigiDirect with no success.
Instead of good customer service, DigiDirect has just got my hopes up and wasted my time.
I won't be buying from them again.

  • Received mine today (Melb) - well packed.

Ordered on 30 Sep, received delayed email with $10 voucher on 02 Oct, delivered 11 Oct
