Using the Skyscanner app there is a glitch to get crazy cheap flights to Europe. Will likely get refunded, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take!!

  1. Download/Open Skyscanner app
  2. Search one way flights to Berlin
  3. Select Etihad flights and Etihad as the provider
  4. Final page price should adjust to ~$142
  5. Cross your toes and fingers that this holds up (lol)

I chose Melbourne to Berlin leaving June 24.09.23 but have seen friends get Sydney to Berlin. Worth trying with other European cities

    The price for these 'tickets' was actually just the fees+taxes, so no actual money was charged for the actual fare. The fact that this wasn't technically a 'reduced' price means its unlikely to be honoured but i'll be happy to eat my words!

    Looks like they've honoured pricing errors in the past, albeit 8 years ago, pre-covid, pre-huge losses, pre-Russia war and fuel increases but you might get lucky, or you might not.

    Was half hoping it wouldn't show up on here and that it wasn't that widespread.
    Got return Syd-Berlin business class end of next month for $336 can't really see it not getting cancelled though

        Not too sure about that. I had flights canceled by Etihad in 2020 when Covid broke. They refused to refund for a long time despite the t&c and only after AU government talked to them.

    Cancelled.

    A number of tickets on Etihad flights were sold incorrectly due to a glitch in a data system supplied by a third party. We located all bookings that were made as a result and your booking is associated with this.

    Whilst the correct price was shown in the initial booking process at the time of payment, you were only asked to pay the taxes which was charged to your credit card.

    Our Conditions of Carriage set out the steps which are followed in such situations.

    We are working through bookings made and will be cancelling tickets issued and refund the amount you actually paid for the taxes back to your credit card.

    We welcome you to make a new booking at the correct fare that should have been collected at the time of booking.

    Thank you for your support in this matter.

        They may ask them to pay before they allow you to check in and give you your boarding pass. I've had it happen under different circumstances when my travel agent changed my flights for me which they said had no additional cost. Got to airport and they said i had to pay extra. Have also recently seen someone else have to pay extra when they arrived at airport for return flight before they were allowed to check in but under different circumstances again so they do have the ability to charge later on.

    Few years ago I got to London with Singapore Airlines for about $700 when Virgin was selling them and messed up.

    You got to be in it to win it or else sit on the side and cry once it expires and it does not get cancelled.

      Not unless they missed cancelling your ticket or you departed before the cancelled, although they may make you pay more before they give you your boarding pass to return.
