132

My first post (hope i did everything correct)

Currently 6650 xt on sale @ BPCECH, cheaper than the 6600 XT on bpctech at only $499 with free shipping.
For those looking to get it, you can probably find 6600 XT's cheaper at other sites still :)

Needs a price in title pal!

Ripped off, not a bargain at all.

This is about 5-10% faster than Radeon RX 6600 XT

The 6600 XT is $438 from TechBuy and has been as low as $349, so the cost per frame here (let me know if you know a way to calculate this) is definitely not great.

    • Definitely not great! I have seen some people buy it though, and for this price I don't doubt at least a handful would buy it, just thought of sharing it :D

Definitely not a good price but thanks for trying to share a deal

  • HODL. Intel A750 $289 US and A770 is also dropping for $329 US on October 12.

Untested GPU's so ya gotta wait till some benchmarks are out. Never know when they might be trash

      • +2

        Also driver and compatibility issues

        • Precisely that as well

    • I doubt they will be widely available. Most will probably go to OEM.

    • That's gonna be $499 and 549 RRP for sure. Perform about the same, and have more reliability issues and random issues with random games.
Only benefit being the POSSIBILITY of MAYBE having like 10-20% better performance at some point in the next couple years as drivers improve.
$499 for this 6650XT is not really a great price, given the 6600XT going for $400 many times and $350 once. Let alone a new unproven card that only might maybe be better in the future.
HODL for next AMD cards if anything, or go for the next good sale on a 6600XT if any.

    • They're both slower than a 6650xt in performance while using more energy and that's only in optimised games, unoptimised games are a crapshoot. Also requires rebar to get proper performance. Buggy drivers in general. Not worth it.

On the hunt for a cheap GPU that can do 1440p60.
Is 6600 xt for $430 a good deal? Also it's ASRock so not the best brand..

  • Do I wait for next gen amd gpu or buy the sapphire nitro 6600xt for same price? Would like to build a new pc now but willing to wait if it's worth the wait

    • +2

wait until at least 7000 & 40 series are released, should bring some downward pressure on price for last gen

    • iirc first week of nov would be announcement, worth waiting till then to make a decision, it's not that far.

it would also signal how far prices can drop.

for me, i've been waiting for years, so a few more months or so isn't going to kill me.

    • AMD won't release a 7600 series card til next year.

Recent US deal pricing in AUD:

    6900 XT ~$1000
    6800 XT ~$750
    6700 XT ~$570

6700 XT for $500 AUD is the Black Friday target

  • Another hundred bucks gets you an RX 6700 XT. A silly product.
