  • Damn I just Bought the pro edition for $699.

    • call JB if you got it from there and request a voucher to match the difference if it wasn't too long ago, pro version is on sale also for $649 I've seen other members have success doing so.

      • The pro is still $699 don't think it was $649 or wasn't for long.

        • Correct, I don't recall it being $649.
I would keep the Pro in your position.
          Much better phone lMO.

          • @[Deactivated]: yea I did some further research, the pro is worth the extra money. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is soo much more powerful than the snapdragon that came with the non pro edition. I can run a Wii emulator running HD.

While the initial specs of the regular looks promising it lacked some key features such as wireless charging and display out. It also has a much weaker snapdragon however I would still consider it very good for running playstore apps but not emulation. I suppose if one doesn't care about those features the regular definitely does a great job for its price

            • @RetroMetro: I just noticed the Pro is the same price as the standard model 🤨

@[Deactivated]: Ha ha and that why they couldn't sell the standard one at that price.

                • @timhn: Lol exactly.
"Can someone figure out why this phone is stockpiled?"
"Ah fcuk it, just reduce the price".

              • @[Deactivated]: Until yesterday Pro was showing as on sale for 699 with the original price of 999 but today it stopped showing the original price. Probably whoever updated the standard one”s price today also accidentally updated the Pro’s original price.

How can a $700rrp phone not have wireless charging?

$350-$400 seems about right for this phone imo

    • After looking into the phone the bigger issue, at least for me, is USB 2.0 which means no display output and slower file transfer. Kinda glad I bought the pro for $699

      • You’re also getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the pro over 778G+

  • Good phone camera could be better.

Just hoping that those of you who purchased this phone can provide some feedback about it in regards to overall user experience, performance and, in particular, camera quality.

I bought the phone but haven't opened it, and I'm not sure if I'll keep it or return it.

    Thanks in advance!

    • I'm in the same boat, haven't opened it yet because I've been quite sick, hospital sick. Would love some feedback for the same reason.

  • Literally, there's no reason to not include a way to use local media. It feels like a crushing push, to their "cloud" BS, making it ever more complicated to ward them from data-scraping and surveylance.

  • Has anybody else experienced connection dropouts. I'm with Vodafone 5G and I get quite often an exclamation mark right next to the signal strength indicator, although I have 1 or 2 bars with 5G. If I then manually switch back to only 4g but with 4 to 5 bars the exclamation mark stays and I won't get any data or phone calls. Only rebooting the phone and waiting for some time fixes the issue.
I've tried the same area with my poco phone (only 4g) no issues at all, so it's not Vodafone.
I had these issues since day 1 and I thought it's just some 5g teething issues, but even 4g is broken. So I will return my phone today for a refund.
