      Have this exact laptop. Never noticed it throttling. The cooling system on the Legion 5 Pro's seems like one of the better ones. Would recommend, the screen is great!

      Better battery life and runs better on battery/scales better sub 40w or so. The 11800H will scale better past 40w but is more power consuming (not that it necessarily get hotter because thats not the case anymore after transitioning to 10nm). You are also getting a 50% bigger L3 cache-24mb vs 16mb on all ryzen 5000/6000 gen so games will run better with intel chips.

      Note the nucx15 dont get a static mux so out of the box it will run worse than the legion 5. What I said is under ideal conditions assuming everything else is the same.

    I really want a laptop with these display and memory specs but really have no need for a GPU. Anyone know if it's possible to switch off or at least run the GPU at extremely low settings so it doesn't affect battery life? Seems like any laptop with the specs I otherwise want always has a GPU.

      I have the 3070 version of this laptop. I can disable the dedicated GPU so it does not use it.

          There's a lenovo app on the laptop, you turn on the hybrid mode and the battery can last good 6 to 8 hours. I was only using moonlight streaming in that mode and the battery was great.

            Limit battery max to 60% to extend battery life span

          I think the LENPAX10 is eligible for 7% cash back.
