  Well, my 8 year old HP. Spectre is on its last legs…. I bought one of these and will upgrade the ram with some Crucial 16g at $60 each.. if this lasts as long as the Spectre it will be a win win for me…

    Also, how can we uograde ram/ssd without voiding the warranty?

  No idea if this laptop really has an IPS screen or not. HN's site states IPS but on HP's site it doesn't specify a screen technology at all… assuming it's actually a TN.

  Have been playing with the laptop……. Seems good……… BUT …….. WTF no touch screen !!!……. Its been so long since I bought one that I thought they all must have them by now. Oh well back two 2 finger scrolling………

  Purchased the Intel Nuc M15, which is essentially the same laptop.

  Fair warning, the hinges are a bit loose and tip easily. It's the only con in my experience.

  Luckily, my laptop version has a touch screen

      Main reason I was going up on the HP version is the fantastic lifetime I had put of the last one. This 15 inch has the same hinges. These where abused and survived… Still a bit pissed about the touch screen being absent…
