      Even the Sapphire Pulse at $329 (BPC Tech) is not an amazing deal, let alone all these low tier 6600 cards that are priced higher.

    Bad Prices even if they were not on sale, but they are sale prices. So extremely bad prices.

    Found this 6500XT on sale for only $195, which is pretty cheap plus free shipping. Everywhere else is at least $230.

    For those who aren't sure what nvidia card its comparable to, its the GTX 1650 super, one of the best budget Nvidia cards for 1080p 60FPS. This is a great price for those who have a tight budget and don't want to compromise on too much.

    Yes I know you can get a 6600 non xt for a little more (at least $100 more), but this is a deal for those entry budget builds!

        On a PCIe 4 machine, I'd take the newer 6500XT over a 5 year old card any day of the week. Look at the youtube reviews comparing the two cards in gameplay, 6500XT usually comes out in front. e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zJitB0jtkI , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KaCohHJvJtU

        6500XT isn't a fantastic card with some of the cost reduction techniques AMD applied to it.. but if you know what they are and can work with them, for a sub $200 price point it's a lot better value than much of anything we've seen for the last couple of years.

          Yes, better than nothing. To cut costs it
          - uses PCIe 4x lanes, so performance will suffer on a PCIe 3.0 platform.
          - has no hardware encoding
          - limited to 2x display outputs (HDMI and DP)

          Still a solid 1080p performance, and now under $200 a solid option for anybody on a budget playing at that resolution.

      Just FYI this card doesn't have hardware x264 / x265 encoding support. Only matters if you are converting videos, watching them is fine.

      (This just means it falls back to your processor)
