sign up to an annual paid membership for eBay Plus valued at $49 per annum.

Conditions. This offer entitles Eligible Users to an eBay voucher valued at $80 (“Voucher”) when they successfully sign up to the offer as set out in clause 3, before the end of the Offer Period. A limit of 1 Voucher per person applies.

eBay Plus. eBay Plus Terms and Conditions will apply when you accept the offer and sign up for an eBay Plus membership.

Use of the Voucher

Voucher issue. If you satisfy the Conditions set out in clause 4 above, the Voucher will be issued to Your eBay.com.au account within 10 days of successful payment of your annual eBay Plus membership, starting from 21 November 2022. For the avoidance of doubt, if you signed up to an eBay Plus 30 day free trial, you will not receive the Voucher until your eBay Plus membership renews to an annual paid membership.

The Voucher is not transferable.

Voucher expiry. The Voucher is valid from the date of issue until 23:59 (AEDT) 31 December 2022 (“Validity Period”).

Voucher Conditions. The Voucher entitles you to $80 off the pre-coupon purchase price (excluding postage costs) of item(s) listed on eBay.com.au, except on the Excluded Items, with up to 10 items per transaction during the Validity Period.

  Does eBay reissue vouchers for canceled orders?

  What's the terms and conditions of the $80 voucher

  I used this voucher to buy Hennessy VS 700mL for $81.99 at Boosebud
  I requested a price match. Ebay said since I paid only $1.99 (81.99-80) they only consider the order value as $1.99

  I requested to cancel the order as it was 20% cheaper at Amazon.
  But I was told eBay does not reissue vouchers for cancelled orders (which may not be correct)

  Contacted eBay earlier today as I never got the $80 voucher after completing the 30-day trial then paying the $4.99 for a year (on 20 December) and 10 days having passed. Has been escalated. Also had the $15 SB cashback rejected a while back, had no success with an enquiry via email so will be contacting the rep here soon about that.

    Please let us know how you get on with this as it sounds rather similar to the situation I'm in.

    Like you I contacted them when I never got the voucher. They claimed they had no record of me being offered the $80 voucher deal. I screenshotted my browser history showing me opening an email saying 'Here's how to snag an $80 voucher' or whatever it said on the day the promo started. Then they claimed to have no record of me accepting the offer. I took screenshots of my browser history showing me viewing the email, then on the promo's page on their website, then on a page that's called 'Welcome to eBay Plus!'.

    Now they claim that I can't have accepted the offer because I never received an email saying the $80 offer was accepted, and while I think they're right that I never received the email, they seem pathologically incapable of admitting that maybe that might have been because of an error on their end. Hoo boy!

      I have given up on eBay. Twice they took my money pretending to offer me the membership. I finally had enough and when they won't rectify the issue I did a chargeback. And no they're not happy they want me to give them the money back for nothing. I refused and they decided to lock my account, LOL. I told them that they are a scammer and they will resort to demeaning activity if they don't like you. 15 years and they are treating you like a piece of s***.

    Had mine rejected a while back after I put a claim in. But the rep here told me he'd ask his team to escalate it with eBay Plus.

    And an update regarding the $80 voucher - I contacted them for the third time via live chat earlier today and they just continue to say that it's been escalated…

    Had a $5 voucher reissued recently.
    Seller cancelled order after 1 week.
    eBay said they don't usually reissue but did it as a one off.
    Haven't tried to ask for $80.
