Siren Vortex Spring Gaming Special GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming PC $1049 + Delivery

So is the GPU a RTX 3060Ti or a RX 6650 XT?

    • +2

I think they are two separate builds, but OP should make this clearer in the post

  • -7

Do you guys deliver to WA? how much?

    • +8

Go to checkout and enter ur address and see

  • +4

    PC Partpicker comparison?

need more 6600 xt for $350 deals

    • +18

so basically a free upgrade would be good?

        • -1

Gt710 is not the same as a 6700

        • +8

Huh? What did I just read…

        • +8

A RTX4090 would sweeten it further - BPC are being selfish not including one.

        • +6

          by your cynical logic

As opposed to your lack of logic.

    • +2

not sure a better deal wish on a bargin site should cause down voting this much

  • +2

Would love an INTEL machine deal too if possible!

  • I have 2 x HDD + 1x SSD from my old pc setup. These built PC's should have scope to add them in?

    • +1

Should be fine for the motherboard (enough SATA ports). Just need to check these two additional things:
      1. Case (places to mount your drives)
      2. Power supply (enough SATA power outputs - you might need to split some out).

    • +3

As this motherboard only has 2 SATA ports and 1 M.2 slot, the maximum number of storage devices you can put on this motherboard are:
      One M.2 NVMe SSD
Two SATA HDDs OR two SATA SSDs.

However, there is a custom option for this build, which is an upgrade to MSI B550M PRO VDH WIFI. It has 4 SATA ports and 2 M.2 slots. Hope this can fit your needs!

  • I think this one outbid the latest $979 TechFast deal?

  • Do these prebuilts come with windows pre installed but inactive if a windows license is not purchased?

    • +1

I got my desktop from BPC a few days ago. And yes, Windows 10 was preinstalled, but not activated. You can still use it without activation for a limited time.

      • How long did it take to be delivered?

        • +3

In my case it was super fast! Despite the fact that my build was listed as "preorder", I received it 6 days after the purchase.

    • +4

Yes, they do come with Windows pre-installed but not activated.

      • +1

        Awesome, thank you for confirming.

  • +1

Would I be right to think this would handle Virtual Pinball without breaking too much sweat?

    • I'm running VPX on a junk system I picked up on Gumtree - i5-3570, 8gb, GTX750 - and I'm getting a pretty solid 60fps at 1080p without tweaking any settings. I reckon you'd have zero problems doing 4K on this.

  • +3

Possibility of a 3070 build for black Saturday for a price similar to this with the RX6700 upgrage?
    Would buy on the spot.

would the above ram work with this system?

    • should work with no issue

  • +2

Umm.. maybe I'm missing somthing but the B450M-A only has PCIe 3.0 whereas the 6650XT is a PCIe 4.0 card, isn't that going to severely hinder the performance?

    • +1

A 30 second google search (try it some time) indicates your losing a few frames - minimal performance drop on pcie 3.

      • Actually some games is a noticeable difference

    • Also the R5 5500 is PCIe 3.0 only. Upgrade to 6700 would give x16 PCIe3, but I'd still want B550 for the extra M.2 slot. Too many things to change on this deal for me, ends up being a different system entirely.

    • I'm a bit confused as to which AMD cards are "crippled" and only run at x8 (EDIT - actually it might just be x4?) - which is fine for PCIe 4.0, but not when running at PCIe 3.0. I know the 6500 XT card is one of those, and can have significant performance issues running certain titles (Doom Eternal)… but what about this 6650 XT card (I think the 6700 XT upgrade option at $59 supports the full 16x lanes)?

EDIT: I think it's the following:

      6500 XT = PCI 4.0 x4
      6650 XT (this deal) = PCI 4.0 x8
      6700 XT ($59 upgrade option) = PCI 4.0 x16

  • Having a look at the other pre builds on the website, look nice but are expensive af. Why is there such a mark up with pre builds? It would be cheaper buying everything separately and paying the store extra $$ to assemble it for you

    • +4

Not sure you can buy parts with lower cost. I tried find similar things from MSY, and it ends up $200+ more expensive

    • +1

Are you sure it's cheaper to buy the parts and build it yourself? I spent over an hour looking at parts prices for a build they're doing for me, and couldn't get within $160. It's not worth my while picking up my screwdriver.

Super keen for a 3070/80 build for Black Friday. Mate has just got his tax return and is looking for a new machine.

  • How long is this deal for? Is there a case? I can't see any details on it.

    • I'm guessing the case is the one in the photo.
