    Is there much of an improvement for the 8500t vs the 7500t apart from native W11 support?

    I wanted to use it as a home server and maybe just use it like a normal PC for browsing and stuff.

      the 8500 they added more cores, it was a much better processor than previous i5s

      The original drive is an M.2. But if you want additional storage you can add a 2.5" SSD or HDD drive or upgrade the M.2. RAM can also be upgraded.

    I bought this from these guys three months ago for $350 with a wifi adapter and paid $40 to get 16GB RAM upgrade. I wanted the 8th gen to allow for Windows 11.

    I'm very happy. Delivery was fast (it was posted before the $40 for the upgrade had been processed). Within a week from WA to rural Qld. The machine appears to match the specs. It looked neat and clean. I wiped it and it installed Windows 11 just fine. I don't know how Hybrid Hardware handle complaints, because I didn't have any.

    Note: I claim no level of expertise in the area, but the price was right and I seem to have got what I wanted.

      @TooSerious2 I just upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11 on my Dell 7050 micro with i7 7700T, works perfectly fine no issues. It did complain my CPU was not on the supported list but I just applied the registry bypass the check provided by microsoft to upgrade. You need to upgrade from the downloaded iso though, not the windows update.
