    I would trust this cable over nvidias 1->4 split cable anyday. Those were very badly made.

        Really? I have both an don't notice a difference.

        Are you sure you sure the CM you have experienced wasn't the first release that was recalled? It was released with a very noisy fan. I bought one on release and it was recalled and replaced with and SF750 which is awesome but I wanted 850w. My new CM 850w has been great.

          Another +1 on the new CM 850W SFX. I got it with the NR200 Max and it has been great. Very quiet throughout the whole time even during intense gaming sessions.

    If you wanted to buy one, Amazon has a 3x8pin (6+2) PCI-e Male to 16pin (12+4) 12VHPWR for $34.99 ($39.99 - $5.00 discount voucher). For Seasonic, Asus and EVGA. Just make sure it is compatible, see second picture on Amazon to see what makes it compatible. By what I can find, cheaper then eBay. 3 left at time of posting

      This is the one I’m currently using with my ASUS ROG 4090. A bit worried before I put it on because it only has 14 pins, 2 pins are fake. Then I saw other cables are do the same way so I decided to give it a shot. Have been using for 2 days, playing couple 3A games and no issue so far.

          I haven’t try to reach the limit but it feels as same as when I use the adapter came from the card. When I play game in 4K, the GPU is usually around 400w. I have seen someone using 2x8pin to 16(14) pin 600w cable to drive their 4090 so I’m assuming it’s fine. Honestly the quality of this cable doesn’t look very nice, as soon as I can buy an official cable that suit my rog thor Psu, I will replace it.

    My PSU was a prize about 3 years ago, but still useful for RTX builds.

    Gave the details in the application. RTX card does not have to be FE edition it seems.
