  • It seems there are exclusions this time. E.g. DJI products like Mini 3 Pro and DJI accessories.

    • They were the first things I searched.

Better that way than jacking prices above RRP and incur the wraths of OB vigilantes 😉
No doubt they will remove more items from the eligible list as the day progresses…

  • LituFoto RGB Video Light R6 LED Tube for $87.20 delivered looks like a good buy if you want a LituFoto RGB Video Light R6 LED Tube. Less than three weeks ago, I had one of these delivered from the USA (B&H Photo) for USD98.10 (~AUD150). DOH!

Too late to buy today if your intention is to claim factory cash back. The invoice date is a day later when they process, and they won’t change it to the day you actually paid on eBay. I got caught out in a previous DD deal buying on the last day of a factory cash back promo.

      • oh mate, that sucks
        thanks for the heads up

        • +2

To their credit (pun not intended), they eventually let me return for a full refund. Disappointed I missed out on the purchase with cash back though…

when there was Fujifilm cashback, I ordered a lens from DD on the last day of it.

yes invoice was dated with the dispatch date. this became problematic claiming cashback

however showing them (Fujifilm) screenshot of order summary and Amex statement convinced them (money was spent within promotion dates) and cashback was approved. fwiw

    Not many fujifilm items

Just be warned DigiDirect can be pretty bad sometimes. They sold me a lens that they had no stock of and had no idea when they would get stock. I had to call and ask to find out and then it took three calls to get the order canceled.

    • +1

      Same experience.
Crapshoot if what they sell is actually in stock or not.

    • TBF, It’s not just DD, other stores do the same so it must be a common practice or shortcoming with their inventory management systems. Camera Store Australia / Diamonds cancelled my eBay order previously, and had the audacity to marked the reason as “Buyer requested cancellation”! Do a Google review search on a few camera stores, you will see many comments about orders cancellations or long delays in fulfilment.

  • Can't stack the monthly $5 code with this.

    • You can't stack codes with eBay. Only one code offer transaction.

    Anything worth to buy?

  • Is this available for ebay plus members only?

Or are they excluding certain items in their store?

If so then this is too hard…

  • AirTags?

  • Does anyone know who bears the cost of the 20% markdown with these kind of sales? Is it eBay or the seller (digiDirect)? Just curious.

    • IIRC it is usually split between them.

    • A lot of it is funded by eBay - sometimes they sell items below cost!

    • eBay fees are 10 to 15% .
      .

  • I notice it mentions that the redemption code can only be used twice. Does anyone know if this means that it can only be applied to two individual items, or can it be applied to more than two items if those items are all bought in the one transaction? For example, could I add four separate items to my cart and receive 20% off all four items if I checkout in one transaction?

    • +1

The T&Cs above says “up to a maximum discount of $1000 per transaction. Multiple items may be purchased in 2 transactions (up to a maximum of 10 items per transaction).”

      So I’d say yes.

      • That makes sense. Thanks!

  • From past experience, usually how long the code will be running for? I am going overseas in a bit over 2 months and was wondering if I should wait until I am within that 60 days purchase timeframe.
