$1449 for the 12.9 is a great price, especially considering the price increase on the new M2 models (and minimal spec upgrade).

No its not, its MINOR. Still the decade old ARM v8 instruction set, while Samsung and others are up to their second generation V9 this year!
The NEXT big Mx is the V9 version of the apple ARM series and it was 50/50 that the M2 would be it wasn't.

I just got the 11 inch 2020 128 fb model from the Apple refurbished store for $779. Don’t really care about the M1/2 as it doesn’t impact my YT trolling so why give AF. If they upgraded the screen on the new 11” to the same as the 12.9” I’d be game but other meh
Been waiting for a deal for the iPad Pro 11. Thought maybe to wait for Black Friday although everywhere else seems to be not offering the 3rd gen (or at least the 128GB version) I’m guessing due to new models.

$100 off isn’t quite enough to be that enticing.
I guess you could consider them $300 cheaper than the new models though.
