At least at eb games I can trade my old stuff to bring the price down and don't have to buy the bundle with a digital copy of a game I can't resell.
Don't trust them, I placed pre-order for a Xbox, no any stock at the estimated date, order details page now showing a new 2 months later date.because of this, I missed trade boost in Oct.
I traded in a bunch of stuff during October, stacked it with birthday 50% trade bonus and EBworld level 3 trade bonus. Staff placed preorders on a bunch of items that has no release date yet so I can transfer it over to the PS5 when preorders open up again.
Called up today and said they'll sort out on the day my 200 deposit that I place online to be refunded and swapped over with my in-store credit to pay for the console.

My PS4 pro I got for 345 with the EBworld discount as per the advertised prices in that ozbargain post a few weeks back which ended on the 31st October.

Don't waste your time pre ordering from ebgames, do yourself a favor and get it from Sony direct insteadI should buy the 10% off xbox gift card from shopback website and spend on microsoft website when XBOX still in stock last week.

Has anybody managed to pay for pre-orders in full using gift cards when collecting (while getting their $200 deposit refunded) at EB? I saw some comments on older posts mentioning they had done it successfully but I just called my local EB and they said it wasn't possible as they would have to cancel my pre-order for a refund?
