"Delongchi" is this a Good brand ???

    • +1

Dunno about Delongchi but Delonghi is

      • Oh NVM, OP corrected the title.

  • No machine found OP???

    • Fixed link, must have broke when I edited.

      • +1

Thanks OP. So this one is eligible for a $100 cashback? Since in the link it said: Purchase a selected Vertuo or Original Line coffee machine to receive a cashback or coffee credit.

        • I also wanted to confirm with the T&Cs, but not available until you input the serial for the machine…

          • +1

@RichardL: Yeah this is strange. They should confirm or somehow let us know which one is eligible for cashback if they want this kind of promotions. Order anyway. Return if not happy for no cashback. $18 seems a good price :D

            • @Dealor: T&Cs added to description. Cashback appears to be $80 for this model.

  • Not working. Can't get past the cart

  • Good price but cbb since I've got a Breville BES929 +1

    • Is that Breville a Nespresso machine?

      • Nah, beans. Much cheaper to run, and more choice.

        • More effort too lol

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got one, deal of the year!

  • Receive up to $100 Cashback when you purchase a participating Vertuo coffee machine

the link for the T&C doesn't work

  • PC says Oos, Android says how many do you want? Weird

    • Less than that sir, $18.26 as per OP calculations

  • +7

looks like it does not include this

      • +1

You read the wrong thing, scroll down for the t&c for this deal

  • +3

anyway to hack this so i can use normal pods? Sounds like those printer deals to get you buying more pricier cartridges

    • +4

Yes, I have this adapter. You can use power coffee or nespresso pods.

      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001598417638.html?spm=a2…

      • +1

Any risks to using an adapter? Like the longevity of the machine or something?
Any potential to open up a small wormhole and swallow my whole house?

        • +3

I've had it for over 1 year, we make 2 coffees every day. The machine looks fine, the size is the same as a normal capsule and it does the same thing

        • longevity of the machine

It's a $38 machine. You'll get your money back after a few dozen cups.

          • @bio: Yea I wouldn't be worried about it breaking, was just wondering if there were any downsides to using an adapter in general.

            • @Bread Pitt: I don't think there will be any difference if you use Nespresso pods. Powdered coffee may taste better or worse, depending on the coffee you buy, or your grinder.

          • @bio: How much do you charge per cup?

            • @TEER3X: Depends on your cup size.

      • anyway get it on amazon or ebay?

  • +5

FYI these machines use expensive Nespresso Vertuo pods. Do your research before buying.

    • can they use the starbucks pods?

      • +2

Nope; the Starbucks pods are the same as the original Nespresso pods so they wont fit in the Vertuo machines

      • Not if they're the original Nespresso capsules

    • On the contrary, see the comment above for an adapter for this machine to take regular pods.

  • I suspect the manufacturers of Nespresso Vertuo machines are trying to clear stock before the upcoming rumoured Vertuo machines are announced.

  • Thanks, Op. ordered 1. Nice deal.

  • +1

Sell you a cheap printer and they make their margin back through the ink. This the business model of the Vertuo.

  • +1

Vertuo is the biggest rort out there. Trapped to the nesspresso Vertuo pods.

    • +2

Yep - you have to wait for patent to run out on these just like the original capsules - Nespresso have to make as much margin as they can on Vertuo before this happens and the rest of the market starts producing copies (you can’t blame them - they invented it)

  • +1

    vertuo is useless.

  • +3

Placed an order but I'm thinking of cancelling now as I'm pretty sure the cashback will be void

Use with other offers: This Offer is not available in conjunction with any other Nespresso promotion, offer or discount. The Offer is not valid for commercial sales, second-hand, refurbished, trade seconds or similar products as determined by Nespresso in its sole discretion.

Unless we could argue the discount was from Delonghi and not Nespresso?

    • Hallelujah! Disaster incoming, may need to return within 30 days then

    • It should be a Delonghi discount since it's from the Delonghi site and not the Nespresso site.

      • +1

Ye I'm hoping to argue the same. Near $40 for this machine even with the cashback is too expensive in my opinion. Will have to spend another $35 for a pod adaptor… Ye naa I'm gonna cancel. Not worth it even with the cashback

    • I doubt they could knock it back on those grounds given it's Delonghi selling them and not Nespresso.

It would be no difference if you got it super cheap from a shop.

    • Dammit… instant buyers regret. cant even cancel the order. Delonghi customer care have closed phone lines even before 5pm

  • +4

stack with code: VirginAFF40 to get it for $70.96 (before cashback)

    credits to peteaussi

    • So with cashback will be a $10 profit???

    • +2

Now that is taking the piss and asking them to pull all codes. But hey, good luck…

      • and 15 mins later they pulled all codes ;p
care to tell me the lotto numbers?

    • Someone find another lmfao

    • Add another code Thanks10 , 3 codes can stack

  • A Participating Product does not include:

    Nespresso Business Solution machines; or

Commercial sales, second-hand, refurbished, trade seconds of similar products as determined by Nespresso in its sole discretion; or

    Nespresso Vertuo machines.

Nespresso machines that are purchased through a Nespresso Subscription service.

  • What's the best standard for pods these days, just wondering?

I have a Caffitaly pods machine and buy the grinders packs of 80. Just like to know if there's a better choice.

    • There are so many brands out there these days it just comes down to trying different ones to find one that suits your personal taste. I find the Coles brand ‘Daley St’ is actually pretty good, and it’s a little less expensive than most.

  • Those Verteo pods are proprietary and expensive, and aren't sold at shops AFAIK.
I had a machine using those pods, and chucked it.

    • cant you use the Nescafe Dolce Gusto for it? sold at coles, Woolworth and many places.

      • Biggest waste of money

      • No. It’s different. You can only use VERTUO pods from Nespresso. No 3rd party, no cheap alternative.

The brewing method is different too. The original Nespresso machine is better.

  • Cant stack?

  • Ordered and paid via paypal with guest checkout ($70.96)
    Just received order confirmation

  • OOS

  • Looks like OOS - got halfway through checkout then got a only 4 left message then cart when empty :/

  • +1

This Nespresso machine is a good option for those wanting to use normal capsules. Comes it at under $50

    https://www.delonghi.com/en-au/en85-w-nespresso-coffee-machi…

Looks to be this one on the Nespresso website - https://www.nespresso.com/au/en/order/machines/original/nesp…

    • +2

Not bad for a $50< deal, but I always found that machine couldn't produce a hot enough coffee, even after waiting a few minutes for the machine to warm up.

  • Can only use one coupon?
    Comes up as $131.40 ?

    • open 3 tabes and put each code separately and it well be 1 code in 3rd tab.

      • did, but westpac code no longer working

  • +1

    OOS

  • hey, so some of their popular coffee varieties have 'cereal notes'. Who the heck likes the taste of cereal? im confused.

  • +1

Looks like they've closed the loophole that allowed multiple coupon codes to be used.

  • Oos

  • +1

Fyi 3 codes don't stack and appears to only register one of the 40 codes.

Edit: looks like they've just disabled the 40% codes, you enter them and they apply but no discount.

    • Yep it didn't last long, I almost got a prima Donna soul for $750 but code disabled last second

  • +2

I guess next week they will be $100 on facebook marketplace. Congrats to everyone snagged the free money.

    • +2

unless they cancel and refund since they found out and closed loophole.

  • In stock, but they don't allow these codes to stack

    • They did for a very brief period

  • Westpac and virgin codes disabled. GG everyone.

  • -1

    wtf is profit $9???? lol

    • +1

      Just under $10

  • Dang when I last checked it said like 118 or something like that, Wish saw this stacking code before

  • -7

lol Nespresso, you guys really need to taste real freashly roasted beans and grinded made in an espresso machine then you will know what good coffee tastes like. I will never understand why people like capsule coffee like Nespresso its terrible.

    • Takes too long lol plus the beans are only fresh for so long.

      • it takes longer because thats how real coffee is made quick solutions are never any good.

  • Wonder how long these codes were supposed to run for. If you'd waited a week could've had the Frenzy 20% off stack too.
    40%+40%+20%+10% = ~ 74% off would've been nice ;)

    • -3

Bad maths. That's 110% off mate.

      • +3

        Example:

        Original price: $100

        Take 40% off $100 —> $60
        Take 40% off $60 —> $36
        Take 20% off $36 —> $28.80
        Take 10% off $28.80 —> $25.92

Original price was $100 and you end up with a price of $25.92 after all the stacked discounts. So a 74.08% discount.
