If you are going to stack, you can stack up to five years total.

If you have an existing subscription, that means you can buy up to four more, not five more.

There is a long discussion here on OzBargain on how to do this, including downgrading your existing family subscription, adding three personal subscriptions also on sale for $69 and then upgrading to family at the last step.

OP, do you mean buy 3 Personal and 1 Family licence and then add the 3 personal licenses first and use the family license last? Do we need to manually downgrade or if the personal license go through, it automatically downgrades?

  That's the gist of it. Check the comments posted in link the description on how to do it (I can't remember off the top of my head exactly how to do it); I think if you apply personal to family, it will downgrade you.
