          I can second this. I've been using the X2 for a few months now and it's excellent. I went from using a table as my mousepad to having this surface. It makes a huge difference. Trust me, spend on a mousepad.

          Good call - got the same dimension matt in a Aussienest brand, could use an unbranded one and may take the old one to work :P.

          Wouldn't mind a genuine Google case for pixel 7, $49 is a bit rish and the spigen rugged armour ones are plenty good enough.

          Shame they all have a logo on them but nothing to worry about for $9 :D

                @CodeXD: Thanks. As I had removed my mobile number before, it unsubscribed me from Perks. Tried to rejoin perks but was rejected. Mobile number used in several accounts.

        I was very surprised, and impressed, that the way they are doing this is just for asking for the month of your birth. They don't want to know the day. They don't want to know the year. This is very unusual.

        It's easy to imagine the marking team saying that it'd be awesome to know the year of birth (and thus, age) of their customers for various data analytical purposes.

        Evidentially they've come to realise that PII is dangerous, and it's in their best interests (and the interests of their customers) to not collect this information.

        Optus and Medicare might have played a part of this decision.

          Furthermore they should only ask for either first name and last name initial or vice versa. Especially given all of this info is for marketing purposes

          Maccas only asks for month as well for birthday reward, EB month and year I think but not date, those started up before Optus and Medibank but there has been a change of tone in Australia about data collection since the Optus hack. Hopefully it continues.

        Not sure what you mean by this.
        To register for a perks account in the first place, you need a verified mobile number (not linked to any other perks account).

          It didn't use to. I was able to use 1 number to register 2 accounts. The second one is now unregistered and I did not get the code on that account.

          You can try logging into the account and then go to manage account to see if it has a verified mobile number.

            Mobile numbers are all verified. Just checked now.
            I joined much later after JB Hi-Fi tightened up their Perks program.

            @CodeXD: JB Hi-Fi seems to have automatically removed Perks subscription from accounts without mobile numbers. Can't seem to resubscribe to Perks as mobile numbers used before.

                @CodeXD: The system remembers the number has been used with Perks. Doesn't matter if number is deleted. I had deleted number and can add number back to account with verification. However can't sign up to Perks again. I didn't know when number was removed from account in July, it removed Perks membership. This would have been after July when JB Hi-Fi tightened up their Perks membership. Explains why I haven't received any of the Perks exclusive discounts recently including this $10. Still getting the general sales email.
