Also worth noting that these aren’t the same as the older generation 4AH batteries which used to be marketed as Lithium+. Not sure if they truly are the same and the marketing changed or whether there are actual performance differences here.
Interesting. Last year I purchased the Ryobi 36V 4.0Ah Battery Twin Pack R36BTY42 and the labelling was simpler (missing yellow highlights).
As part of Black Friday, the batteries are back in stock for a limited time at $299.
Bought these. Guess I can return the pack if there's some caveat in the actual type of cells included.
I did have a quick look at my existing batteries, they are all different models, but also all labelled as Lithium+

From Ryobi's website for the product, the "Whats Included" tab states the model is "
ONE+ 4.0Ah Battery (RB1840C)" and in the "Specifications" tab it indicates the battery type is "Lithium+".My guess is that Ryobi are phasing out the Lithium+ marketing in favour of having a simpler lineup of "Lithium" and "Lithium HP" to align with their tool ranges.
Worth noting also that their newer HP kits are also including these batteries too though. e.g. 18V ONE+ HP™ Brushless Compact Impact Driver Kit and that their product pages for the 6AH HP batteries don't even make reference to Lithium+ anymore
