Been looking for a new tripod for past few weeks and stumbled across this today. Seems to be a large price drop (-89% from RRP $509.95). I recall seeing it between $200-$300 in the past. Only catch is it ships from Amazon UK, so may be longer than usual for delivery. I took the plunge and ordered. Expected to arrive by 8 Dec 2022.

      I got an email containing the text "Order Confirmation", but it was for 2 separate order IDs, one for the tripod and another for other purchases I made.
      Haven't received a cancelled email yet, but guessing I probably will. Let's see.

    Amazon CS is second to none. Reynard first offered me the Manfrotto Compact MKCOMPACTADV-BK for the same price. Good deal, but I declined. He then offered me $51.57 in account credit (on top of the full refund). I don't think any other company would do that.

      Bezos company is all about customers. I've had the same experience as you. Amazon has better service than most retailers. Only the big ones like myer, David jones, jb can really match

                @I Smell Pennies: I dont think they should and I dont think they are great customer service,but if they did they are great customer service.Also this is not price error just Amazon UK cant full fill the order that they oversold(Great customer service told me on the phone),so I ask if they can fullfill by Amazon AU or even lower grade item by Amazon UK but they can't,thats below average customer service standrad for me,Make sense?

                    @fuzor: Ye?$80 credit,$320-$80=$240+ 1 hour of time(which I only have to pay$52),thats generous,I dont know who will think this is great customer service,eg:coles/woolworths if they sold out items they replace with higher grade items or fullfill from other store.Bunnings give you giftcard/fullfill part of orders(even its price error) at first place.
                    If you over sold an item that is not price error and you still selling it the customer have right to choose the item I think it is common sense(even sold by Amazon UK may fullfill by Amazon AU,or lower grade by Amazon UK)

    arrived today looks boxed damaged but unused. The sony release plate is a bit fiddley and overkill considering its not a fluid head so you not likley to be moving it much. The sony mount would be far more useful on fluid/ video tripod. a bubble would be nice too but on the plus side its surprisingly sturdy for the weight . solid but but nothing special so you not missing out no too much.
