Buy Ultimate Everyone, and then go to EBGames for your Nintendo eShop discounted card?

    • Eb games offer ends tomorrow before this promo begins

      • Jb have run the 10% promo on Boxing day for many years now, if they can wait

  • +3

Is this new? Looks perfect to including JB eb TGG Officeworks all together.

  • Any way to get cheap PSN with all this gift card deals

    • +1

      You buy the card.
      You give me the card.
      I get cheap PSN.

    • +1

Guy the gift card then purchase a psn credit at any store

    • Convert EB Games to PS credit

  • +4

It's stupid that there's any card OTHER than the ultimate everyone gift card. It's insane that the others only continue to exist for real estate (shelf space) reasons.

    • +1

Exactly. Should all just be Everyone with variable denomination. Otherwise, waste of paper and plastic

      • +2

But how else are they supposed to create artificial scarcity when they have twenty hooks with the same card.

    • How else would they make you buy multiple, hope you fail to use it within 3yrs?

  • +2

Will stack with the monthly 10% Everyday Plus discount?

    • +2

Sadly no, gift card purchases at Woolies won't get discounted by the monthly 10%.

      • Oh.. so only stacks in Big W?

    • +2

Time to try it out. Dont forget to buy a cheap grocery in the same txn

      • Wait. So i but a $1 chocolate bar then 1k off Gift cards and i will get the 10,000 points?

        • As stated in the Everyday Extra’s T&C…

Extra Discount only applies to 1 Woolworths and 1 BIG W shop, with single transaction value up to $500 each, each month.

In theory, maximum should be as this person stated. I personally only did 4x$100 HOME from Big W coz that’s all I found, so well under the limit.

… will get the 10,000 points

As for that I don’t understand what you meant, as this deal is straight 10% off face value and not earning points. Afaik you dont earn any base points for buying GC @Woolies unlike @Coles

  • -1

How does the variable load cards work? As in how do I know how much is on there?

    • +2

You can select the amount (between $50 to $500) at checkout.

      • +2

Ah cheers, the Ozbargainer in me is saying go to Coles for 15% off but the variable load makes it so much more convenient…

        • How do you get 15% at Coles?

            • @RichardL: Aren't those cards treated as eftpos so you can't stack them ?

              • @johnnytran: Sorry what do you mean stack? Can you add stack gift cards to one virtual card or something?

Just wondering as i normally go to jb with 10 or so cards sometimes and i feel bad.

                • @dekito: I meant use multiple in 1 transaction. There are some cards that are similar to an eftpos card (have to enter a pin?) so you can only use one of those per transaction. There was a comment above mentioning these are visa but I can no longer see it, if that is the case you might be able to use multiple in 1 purchase

        • Also you would expect many people will queue at the store front before Coles opens this Wednesday morning.

  • from 50 to 500 dolloars?

  • Apologies if this is a well known fact. Is one able to use this at Good Guys Commercial online?

    • -1

      negative

      • Thanks :)

    • +2

You probably still can use 1x Ultimate gift card on the TGG Commercial website. It worked earlier this year.

Alternatively, if you have a TGG store near you, follow these instructions to get TGG Commercial pricing at a TGG store. This method will allow you to use more than 1x Ultimate gift card as a payment method.

Thanks, good to know! That's some advance ozbargaining :D

Can confirm this works (for multi gift cards). However, steps are slightly different. I phoned up Good Guys Commercial to place an order, they said I'd have to email the rewards partner contact. In my case it is [email protected] for Australian Retirement Trust (they provided this over the phone).

Then, easiest way I found is to:

        1. Log into Good Guys Commercial website, add your item/s to cart, and create a quote. This will generate a PDF with quote valid for 30 days with the items in your cart, and the pick up store details (quote PDF will be emailed to you).
        2. Place order through by emailing rewards partner contact, forward them the quote PDF, mention you want to pay and pickup at store.
        3. In my case within 24h I received the sales order email.
        4. Buy gift cards at 10% off. Add them to phone wallet.
        5. Go in store, show them sales order, ask to do split payment.
        6. Go home happy :)
  • again??? WTF is going on 3 times in a span of couple weeks

  • Can I pay with WISH E-gift card?

    • +2

couple years too late I'm afraid. Good times.

  • I was reading the comments on the Coles deal and noticed you can’t use those online. Does anyone know if you can use these Ultimate ones online? JB specifically.

    • +1

      yes but only one card

  • Does anyone know if we can buy Nintendo eShop Gift Card by using Everyday Rewards Dollars ? I am guessing not but wanna confirm..

    • The pop up didn’t come up for me at big W but my partner who bought gift cards at another register and added a regular item to the cart got the prompt to use my credit

      • @siberry cool.. So he was able to pay by just adding random item to cart alongside Nintendo eShop Gift Card ? Never bought one before but don't we need to check with a person to activate it or will self-serve work as its pre-activated cards? I am guessing the person at checkout might stop from using Dollars (or the system itself)

        • Try self check out with one regular item. If it doesn’t work then just void the transaction or decide if you want to pay

          • @siberry: @siberry yeah didn’t work.. oh well.. bought with normal card transactions

    • I tried at Big W with rewards. No go.

      Flybuys at Target, no issue.

Didn't have any additional item though.

  • It seems like i keep missing out on the best deal. Bought a few 10% off ultimate gift cards at big w last week. The largest domination they had in store was $50. Then, i realised that i cannot do the split payment on OW online order. :( This everyone card would have been more useful.

  • Fall back option in case I can't find any 15% off TCN cards at Coles on Wed.

    • TCN is pretty obsolete and they don't even have the TCN GIFT which is the good one can use on Ebay

    • Amen brother

  • Yes, gooooooood.

  • +1

Anyone used Woolworths digital gift cards to buy these gift cards?

  • Can I purchase this card and buy an iPhone from JB?

    • +4

Yes but only in instore if you are using a few cards. Online will only take 1.

      • Actually you can convert the everyone card to a JB gift card here https://exchangeyourcard.com.au/, then redeem multiple native JB gift cards in one transaction I believe

        • +1

you used to be able to but those days are unfortunately over

if you type in ya card and try to exchange you will notice JB is not on there

          • @Poor Ass: turns out you can buy JBHIFI gift cards with these, i just bought 2 individual $100 gift cards with 2 $100 Home gift cards.

Had to buy them online through JBHIFI

            • @Kirbieb: you bought a home gift card from the JB website? could you send me a link please

              • +1

@Poor Ass: Sorry must of poorly explained it.
I bought 2 Ultimate home gift cards $100 each from Big W.
I wanted to buy something that was $200 on JBHIFI but couldn't as I could not use both cards in the transaction. So i bought 2 JBHIFI gift cards through JBHIFI online using the ultimate home gift cards and used them to purchase the item.

            • @Kirbieb: Can you then use the JB gift cards to buy Apple gift cards?

              • @zzzman: sorry not sure, i cant even see the apple gift cards on JBHIFI online to test it out.

              • +1

@zzzman: You can use the TCN/Ultimate in store (JB) to buy Apple giftcards. I've done that multiple times recently.

  • Go Officeworks and price beat, for anyone getting the Nintendo gift cards

    • What can I get from Officeworks?

      • oh hmmmmm I coulda sworn I've gone to OW before to price beat the Nintendo eshop gift cards…. maybe they stopped selling them or maybe I'm just remembering wrong!!
        Disregard what I said above

  • +1

could i buy $2000 (4x$500) worth of cards in one go?

    • There is no mention of any limits.
I guess it would be the balance of your bank account. ;)

    • Curious of the same thing also.
Assuming if you can, you can also pay in multiple giftcards at checkout?

      • Yes. There is a limit of 10 however per transaction per day.

  • These stack, and/or can be used online
    ?

    Handy!

  • +1

So can I use these cards to get a further discount on the Pixel Black Friday sales at JB?

What's the best amount of gift cards to get the best value for money for the Pixel 7 Pro at $1037?

  • Wanting to buy the iPad mini, with 10% off Officeworks price would be $672… not too bad I suppose.

  • Sorry for such a noob question, Which minecraft edition good to play on macosx?

Also, I suspect I buy this card and get the game from ebGames?

    Thanks

  • Does anyone know if this works if you buy JB Hifi items online? I got a bundle deal with a personalised URL cart, and I am wondering how many gift cards will work on it.

    • Yes and you can only use one card online but unlimited in store

  • Will this card work on JBHiFi?

  • Maybe it is a good timing for me to buy the 14inch Macbook pro from officeworks for extra 10%.
Hope that they have $500 version.

    • +1

Be careful on OW, I got rejected to do split payment yesterday. I know for sure that they can do split payment as I've done it before, however the person i met was quite rude and just say they can't do split payment.

      • Thanks for your advice. Which OW you went? try to avoid that at first.

        • +1

Sydney Pitt Street. However I've done it successfully there as well, so it really depends on the person you encounter with

    • I haven't seen a version of MacBook for $500.

  • +1

There's a comment above confirming it doesn't stack with the Everyday Plus 10% discount, but does anyone know if the Woolworths mobile Monthly 10% would work?

Everyday plus actually mentions gift cards in the T&C's but I haven't been able to find the same in the woolies mobile T&C.

  • Can you use the giftcard to get an itunes/apple music gift card?

  • will the 10% loophole work?

  • Hardly any of the Ultimate Everyone cards on the shelf at Eastgardens Woolies. Not looking hopeful for getting them tomorrow!

    • +1

Did you check the freezer section or under boxes of dog food?

  • Can I use $1700 worth on Officeworks online? Can you enter multiple gift cards?

    • yes u can

      • How?

    • +1

      No.

Ultimate Everyone gift cards operate on the Visa network, so you will need to choose Visa as the payment option on the checkout and enter the Ultimate Everyone gift card's card number, expiry and CVV2 into the checkout.

The problem is that Officeworks will only let you use one Visa card per online transaction, so if you have a $1700 item in your cart and attempt to redeem an Ultimate Everyone gift card with $500 loaded on it, the transaction will be declined, because Officeworks will try to charge $1700 to the Ultimate Everyone gift card.

There is no workaround available for the Officeworks online store, as there is no way to redeem multiple Ultimate gift cards in one online transaction. You also cannot redeem any Coles Group & Myer gift cards or Officeworks gift cards on the Officeworks online stores, so you cannot "convert" Ultimate gift cards into Coles Group & Myer gift cards or Officeworks gift cards and then hope to get around the one Ultimate gift card restriction that way (which is the workaround I usually suggest for JB Hi-Fi).

If you want to redeem more than one Ultimate gift card in a transaction, you will need to go into a physical Officeworks store to complete the purchase (and cross your fingers that the Officeworks staff member will let you do split payments). Just remember to tell the staff you would like to do split payments across multiple cards. Don't say gift cards, otherwise the staff member may think you are trying to redeem a Coles Group & Myer gift card or Officeworks gift card and then get confused.

      • Thanks - what about ordering over the phone?

        • I like to see that

        • I have no direct experience, but from what I have previously heard on OzBargain, the phone staff will likely not accept payments over the phone. There’s no harm in trying!
