I'm curious about the production numbers of the Pixel Watch. The Pixel 7 series all reviewed well and are going on sale, and also had the pre-order bonuses, while the the Pixel Watch was middling and still nothing. You'd think the Watch would go on sale quicker.

    $1888 LG C2 55!!!!
    $1788 Sony 55 A80K!!!!

    Thanks OP!

    • +2

      That's an LG CS 55. It's the C1 rebranded.

      • +1

        C1 panel with C2 parts.

      • +1

        Bummer!

The 42 for $1388 is good!

    • I hope is A80K but logic telling me is A80J :(

  • +6

How much The Pixel 7pro 256gb?

    • +2

I def want to know if the phones with larger storage is discounted.

  • Better deals from OW. Jbhifi will do pricematch so can buy using 10% giftcard as well https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/736665

    • What is OW?

      • Officeworks

      • +13

The sound you make when you walk into a table

        • +7

Or when you grab your crotch like Michael Jackson.

    • Can you post the deal? I don't see any Pixel 7 deals advertised on their website.

      • +1

It starts in 4 days per the OP. The catalogue was made available through ShopFully but I suspected OW asked them to pull it to amend it

How can we buy JB gift card at 10% discount? Is it via the Aldi/ Coles deal?

    • +5
    • +3
      • +1

so at coles buy a 15% discount tcn home GC and then take that to JB?

        • You are only allowed 5 per customer and they are only $50 each so this doesnt really work.

          • @kittt: Generally there's nothing stopping you from buying more than 5 in separate transactions. The problem will be finding enough cards in stock. Also, it hasn't been clarified if it's only the $50 cards.

  • No deal on Pixel Buds Pro to go with all the Pixel 7s. Disappointing.

    • I haven't seen any discounts for them. I'm wondering if it's selling just fine without them.

  • Yeah, I guess Google’s strategy is cut the margin on the phone and earn some of it back on the full price earbuds. But I’m refusing to cooperate while my Jabra 65t’s are still alive …

  • So this deal still isn't as good as the preorder trade in discounts eh. Any shop doing that?

  • Appreciate not comparing apples with apples (pardon the pun) but is the 7 at ~$830 worth $330 more than the 6a at around $500 per the Amazon UK price for a "regular" user (photos, standard non-game apps)?

  • +4

Pixels are so quick to discount.

Is the 7 pro worth the $200 extra? Main differences are:
Bigger screen, increased refresh rate (90->120) and 1 extra camera right?

    • +1

With tons of reviews going around, people tend to prefer the Normal model over the Pro unless you need the extra camera sensor. 120hz - 90hz different is pretty much negligible.

    • Depends on what you use your phone for. For me it was camera and a large screen for media consumption so got the Pro.

    • I went with pro for larger battery + ram

  • I heard Pixel 7 Pro is not good. Is that right? Any real reviews here?

    • +10

I pre ordered it and using it since then, no issues at all so far. I didn't have any issues either with my pixel 6 pro, I am one of the lucky ones I guess. But pixel 7 pro has better battery life plus camera is very very good, the phone is snappy, never lagged even once until now.
I'm very happy with it so far.

    • +1

      No complaints here

    • +2

2 days in (I know, super early) only issues I've had so far are the keyboard weirdly didn't open during the setup process (seems common on the interwebs) and the left side of the phone gets warm pretty fast (again, common online). But other than that, great camera, great battery life (91% now at 1.40pm, came off charge at 8am - light / moderate use) and the software is just so well refined and feature-rich. Very, very happy with my decision to get this phone.

    • nah it's an awesome phone!

    • Had mine now for a few weeks and have had no issues. Found one minor bug which I am sure will get fixed in update. The finger print sensor has been very reliable also and overall am very happy with upgrade. I bought the pro for bigger screen.

    • +1

YouTube reviews not good enough for you ?

  • Was keen on getting the Samsung S95B 65inch but the pricing on the LG C2 has got me thinking. Thought they would be much closer together.

    • The catalogue shows the LG CS pricing for $2688. I couldn't find the LG C2 price tag?

      • Ah, trying too look on a too small phone screen.

        • My guess is the price is going to be around $3000. Would you buy it for that price over the S95B

          • @MrBarbs: Probably not since i've already got the holes in the wall to fit the close to where the HDMI comes out for the S95B ಠ_ಠ

  • Wow Oppo $800 off! Next generation around the corner?

  • +2

    Doesn't Telstra have a better deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/732912

  • Wasn't the pixel 7 $700 plus free gifts only a month ago?

    • No, $900

    • +1

was ~$700 from HN through Optus, no pre order freebies
was ~$900 from JB with pre order freebies

      • I bought 2 from JB Hifi for $700 each with 2 freebies. No contract. Claimed GST back when I travelled to Singapore last week.

        • Did you have issues bringing them back? ie, were they over your limit of $900 per person? Did you have to declare them on the way back in regardless? Were you warned by TRS or flagged for a check when you came back in?

  • +2

I'm after the Pixel Buds Pro

  • Any gaming laptops on sale you guys'd recommend for $2000 or less?

  • Please recommend me a good laptop that is on a good deal : ideally i7, 16GB Ram 1tb/512HDD. Can run some programming test work but not gaming and other basic microsoft items.

  • +1

I hate curved screed as can't get good glass screen protectors.

    • +1

Curved screen phones look weird too

  • Pixel 7 pro or iPhone 14 pro max? I don't really care about the operating system more interested in the camera. Price and video quality seem to be the main differences?

    • +1

Have both iPhone 14 Pro Max and Pixel 7 Pro
Still Camera - Very very close, but if I had to give it, I will give it to Pixel 7 Pro, primarily because it lets you shoot in night mode in bright day light and it makes a difference if you pixel peep.
Video - No comparison and that is before you consider that iPhone lets you shoot in ProRes, none of the other phones do. Cinematic mode in 4k is also good.

  • I'm very tempted to get the Pro. I've had a Pixel 5 for 2 years and love it (it was replaced in Feb under warranty, so the battery hasn't lost too much life). I'm sure the size difference will be a shock at first.

I'm travelling overseas next month, so wouldn't mind the better camera, plus the initial discount, discounted gift cards and GST refund all add up to a pretty decent price.

    • +1

I'm in the same boat. The size difference is noticable when you put them next to each other, but I'm hoping I'll get used to it. It's taller than my old Pixel 2XL but the same width.

      • I had the Nexus 6P before, and it seems to be about the same size, just more screen to try and reach.

    • No GST refund it seems since I'll be bringing it back in to the country and it's above the $900 allowance

      • How much is a second hand phone worth? That's the question to ask when you bring it back into the country. Unless you keep it brand new in the box, intending to re-sell, it should be worth less than $900.

  • Where does it show the pixel 7 on the catalogue?

    • +1

      page 19

    • You need to hit the Load 25 more images button below page 15. The full catalogue isn't displayed by imgur by default. (took me a while to figure it out myself).

  • +1

How would the S21 FE compare to the Pixel 7? I'm really having a hard time deciding on what phone to get, but need to get something really soon.

Do you have to buy a charger with either phone? If so, what do you guys recommend that doesn't cost a lot?

  • +2

Really need a deal on the Pixel 7 Pro with 256GB… 128GB isn't enough for many in this day and age, even with cloud.

  • Would this work for Pixel 7?
    8x$100 (TCN GC @15% off) = 680
    1x$50 via AfterPay (with $30 off $50) = 20
    Total cost = 700

  • Does anyone know if the gift cards you get for contracting with Telstra can be used on purchasing a new handset and time of contracting. I could effectively get the pixel 7 pro for $700ish in a 12 month contract.

    • Anyone know why someone couldn't ask Telstra themselves !

  • Google Store Black Friday deals just out! Pixel 7 $999 with $250 credit, P7 pro $1299 with $300 credit

    • I wonder if you can use this credit to buy another pixel then get another credit 😁

      • What would you do with the another pixel?

  • Officeworks:
    Pixel 7 128GB $837.00
    Pixel 7 Pro 128GB $1037.00
    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/search?q=pix…
Lots of others. Can't post as a deal because stock is listed as Limited.

  • This isn't tomorrow, the deals are up NOW. :/ no pixel 7 white 256 gb left

    • Never came in white for 256GB.

  • +1

Pixel 7 Pro 128GB is on sale right now $1037 to match OW

    https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/google-pixel-7-pro-5g-128…

  • What are the JB Hifi/Officeworks voucher options are available to go with this deal?

  • Can anyone advise when the p7 and p7 pro special pricing ends please?

    • Deal end date says 28/11

      • Thanks!

      • Should I wait for boxing day sales since I'm not in a hurry to get the phone

        • Magic 8-ball says try again later.

  • I think I got a dud P7P. It was working great for 3 days, but now it crashes at the drop of a hat. The screen freezes, but it seems things continue going in the background. It happens often when app switching, every time I try to move or zoom in Maps, and occasionally in other apps like TikTok and Uno. Apps just close randomly, including the Play Store and Chrome. The home screen had artifacts on it after one restart. I'm backing up now to try a factory reset.

    • JB replaced it instantly :)

  • Took the shot..used the ultimate gcs to get one..Ccould've got the ones from coles and that would've saved another 5% ..But thats what is ozbargainer's life
