              @nightelves: Worked for me at self serve, as long as there is enough credit on the gift card to cover the whole amount. I think you need a normal checkout to split, and they may refused if it is a gift card?

    Tcn cards are a pain since theyre eftpos cards, no using online and I don't think you can add them to mobile wallets. You can trade them for some stores gift cards for online use but it's pretty limited.

      Ultimates aren't much better though, as you can only use one per transaction. Good if you're only buying lower value stuff online.

        The only thing that stops you from using more than 1 is the store not taking split payments online, I wonder if that will become a thing in the future.

        But also having it on your phone is an advantage as well as you can tap, I'm finding more and more places are becoming tap only and removing swipe facilities.

          No, not at the moment.

          • You currently cannot convert a TCN gift card into a JB Hi-Fi gift card through the TCN website, as the TCN website does not give you this option for any TCN gift cards featuring JB Hi-Fi as a participating retailer. You are normally able to do this, but this was stopped a few weeks ago. It will probably be back by mid-December, but there is no guarantee this will be the case.

          • You cannot use the TCN gift cards in this deal to purchase JB Hi-Fi gift cards from the JB Hi-Fi website, as the TCN gift cards in this deal operate on the EFTPOS network (which does not support online transactions).

      I do this every year. I use my CBA awards points to get coles digital gift cards then use those gift cards to buy the TCN gift cards. No issues so far…Sometimes the staff can be dicks about it, but I just say it worked last time and they leave you alone

      I just tried this today with an ultimate home gift card and they did not allow it. Maybe it depends on the cashier, but by the sounds JB were cracking down.

          The ultimate card is really an eftpos card in my eyes so you should be able to purchase anything
