Late reply but owning both the Bose sound better but the Jabra 7s are good allrounders.

I think because its supposedly $199 each, then when you applied the student beans code it only deducted $50 eash of the item that's why you need to pay $299.95 for 2
No I purchased only 1 for $99, in the order it says 149 but there was additional discount applied when I paid using PayPal
Same happened with me, I think you would have also clicked on - add free Bose gift box. If you check your email, apparently adding the gift box deducted $50 and the final price came to $99
