    Hi for 8GB it will be single 8GB stick, for 16GB it will be 2 x 8GB.

    Considering there is a premium on m.2 SATA sticks, I would guess 2.5inch. Since these models are sata only, where there is no discernible difference in speed on either, it makes no difference.
