  Sorry mate, I'm voting -tv for stupidity that starting a promotion that only runs for an hour at 11pm and only announced the sale at 11pm.

  It is a decent deal but it pales in comparison to the 70% or even 90% for life offers.

  You can't seriously expect us to run anything near 70% or even 90% all the time.

  We can run a sale at random, any time we like. If you miss out, you miss out…theres always more deals around the corner ;)

    Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh and I understand what you're saying and I did say it is a good offer.

    However, I was just wondering what's the point of announcing that you have a one hour sale at 11pm. The offer is expired by the time midnight strikes. And this deal becomes useless. Imagine EVERY single deal is an one-hour-only sale, OzBargain will be filled with mostly useless deals.

    By useless I only referred to them being expired, not that they weren't good deals.

  Sure, I can see what your saying, but deals are designed to be for those who are quick. If your on Ozbargain at the time, great, you grab a bargain, if your not, then you miss out. It's the whole idea behind a deal…that it's for a limited time.

  but as I said, stay tuned…we've got plenty more up our sleeves yet ;)

  you know its counter productive to vote negative just becaues someone's offered a better deal in the past.

  They've got a business to run and cant offer insane ;) deals all the time. if people vote like this on their other promotion you may find they (and other vendors) may choose not to offer anymore insane deails just so they dont get any negative feedback for their other promotion.

  but if you really think its not good value, then fine you can always buy hosting from somewhere elese that's better value.

  … but I do agree about the silly late notice and for 1HR only …. not sure how many people it would've captured.

    I know, and I made it clear that I voted negative for the fact that it only last one hour and of late notice.

    I said that it is a good deal. Just a shame that it will be irreverent and useless to 99% of people who didn't see this deal between 11pm and midnight last night.
