Discount code not applicable for the LG CS 65 :(

  • +1

This discount code isn't applicable to any of the items in your cart

  • +2

Code doesn't seem to be working on anything 💩

  • +2

    Code doesnt work

  • +2

When I click the link from cashrewards it says 10% but once I'm in Bing lee website and I click on the extension it says 2.10%, do I need to wait or is it actually 10%

    • +1

That happened to me as well. Then the extension popped up a notification saying something like "cashback activation expired" and I clicked on it again to re-activate it, and after that it correctly showed 10%.

Not that it matters, since the CYBER10 code doesn't work on the Bing Lee site, bah. "This discount code isn't applicable to any of the items in your cart."

[edit] that's for the LG C2. Apparently it works for some other items.

      • omfggg yes that just popped up for me, im in the clear!

    • cashback seems to be working now

  • Took me ages to work out where to put the coupon. Grabbed the air fryer. Thanks!

    • Where do you have to put the code?

      • +1

I needed to “collapse my order summary” or something like that. On the check out or basket page, can’t remember. Not very obvious on mobile.

        • Thanks mate. Was able to figure it out. You are right need to collapse the order summary on the top and then was able to add the code. It works the same on Cashrewards app/ mobile as well.

  • +5

Haha not applicable to LG TVs

  • just ordered a nestcam and the code worked. Same as previous comment, cashrewards shows 10% but the browser shows 2.6% . hope it tracks correctly

  • +1

Thanks OP. Grabbed myself the Philips Airfryer. :)

  • Worked for me. 10% off with CYBER10 and 10% tracked in CR. Used the CR app.

  • Not applicable to Roborock S7 Maxv Ultra :(

  • +3

So either deal starts 6pm AEST or sitewide code doesn't work on LG C2 42".

Probably better if it doesn't work. I don't have to agonise on whether to buy one or not.

    • hehe yeh same boat, back to waiting for good price on AW3423DWF

      OR maybe a 32" 4k one day..

  • Code isn't working on an S22

  • Where to insert the code?

    • At the checkout, there is a option on the right where it says "Have a coupon code? Click here"

    • Hard to find but on the final checkout page, view the Order Summary - it will expand and you can enter the code there

      • I was using cash reward on the phone. Can't find the code there but easily shown on desktop.

        • Yeah I was on the CR app too - hope you found it, the order summary is at the very top of the checkout page and needs to be expanded

  • Looks like alot of items are eligible to the 10% except the XXL fryer

    • the XXL fryer in the OP works with the code for me, but the sony earphones i want, dont :(

      • not even half sitewide

        • yeh, poor form

  • +1

So odd, the T&C on Cashrewards only specify these products excluded

Purchase any Promotional Product(s) between 6:00pm (AEDT) to midnight (AEDT) 28/11/22 ("Promotional Period") on Bing Lee's website (www.binglee.com.au) and receive 10% off the Total Advertised Purchase Price (excluding Delivery Charges) at the Checkout. This Promotional Offer is not available in-store, on eBay or in conjunction with any other offer or promotion. Multiple Products may be purchased but Customers cannot purchase more than three (3) of the same Products during the Promotional Period. Total Discount per Customer is capped at $1,000 per transaction. In the event that Customer returns or seeks a refund for any Products purchased, the value of the discount will not be refunded to the Customer. Promotional Products excludes Asko, Miele, Smeg Agency and Proforma brands, Apple Products, Liebherr, Neff, Falmec, Falcon, Gift Cards, Extended Warranties, any products not listed for sale on Bing Lee website, out of stock items, pre-order models and backorders. Purchases can be collected from Customer's closest Bing Lee store or delivered (Delivery Charges will apply, and Next Day Delivery not available). Commercial Shoppers excluded. Bing Lee reserves its rights to reverse any purchases not made in good faith by the Customer.

    • +1

The first line does say "Promotional Products". Confusing to then list specific brands, etc.

  • +8

I'm starting to think sitewide was click bait

    • +2

Yup, me too. Sitewide is not really sitewide. Click bait.

  • +3

    "Sitewide" …

  • The Promotion cites terms and conditions saying only it that it excludes quote: "Asko, Miele, Smeg Agency and Proforma brands, Apple Products, Liebherr, Neff, Falmec, Falcon, Gift Cards, Extended Warranties, any products not listed for sale on Bing Lee website, out of stock items, pre-order models and backorders".

    (reference: https://www.binglee.com.au/categories/black-friday-sale-cybe…)

However, like others I attempted to get an LG TV and it was disallowed. It would have been nice if they were clearer about their exclusions as I got my hopes up a lot for nothing :(

    • wont even works on LC washing machine aren't onsale

  • +2

doesnt work on dyson products either…

    • Got my hopes up on this too, not exactly "sitewide"

  • Not working for me either on the T7

  • Trying to buy an LG Fridge and it says "This discount code isn't applicable to any of the items in your cart"

Looks like a Bing Lee scam…

  • Worked well with the air fryer, cheers.

  • Not working on Philips iron :|

Seems BL forgot to define what "Promotional products" entailed. Someone didn't do their job.

  • Did anyone get a confirmation email post the order? I got nothing after 10 mins and the money is charged on the account.

    • +1

same boat, took money from my card but nothing is loading up in my orders nor did i get any email confirmations.

  • +1

    (((sitewide)))

  • +5

Wasted my time getting ready for the C2

  • sitewide :DDD

  • +1

Aint sitewide. False advertising. Neg neg neg

  • not working for Dyson purifier

  • +3

A lot of us came prepared to buy a C2 at 6pm, all for nothing. Disappointing.

  • Where do you actually put in the CYBER10 code at checkout? There’s nowhere to put in coupon or voucher codes.

I guess this wouldn’t apply to Sony A95K?

    • +1

its on the right hand side when you're checking out. Same page where they ask for your card details

      • Found it. Had to collapse the order summary on mobile website.

        And it works on A95K

    • +1

At the checkout, there is a option on the right where it says "Have a coupon code? Click here"

    • +1
  • Terrible, got excited for nothing… False advertising

  • Not working on Breville water filters or Phillips Sonicare replacement heads

  • Bing Lee click baiting scammers. Code doesn't work

  • +6

looks like this link shows all the applicable items in the promo
    https://www.binglee.com.au/categories/black-friday-sale-cybe…

    • +2

Right you are — it's a pitiful selection indeed. Some TVs are included, most are not.

  • What a joke

  • Kind of annoyed. This is not site wide.

  • Not working on half the products although they adhere to the T&Cs…. Called Bing Lee and they said nothing we can do? Seriously…?

  • +4

    lies @mods should tempban BINGLEE

    • Also not nation wide…..

      carn lift ya game

  • Clearly not sitewide…

  • Binglee's response on live chat:

This is a third party promotion hence it might be best to check with them because the discount is available on your selected item only

    • How can it be a third party issue when it's listed on BL's website?

  • +2

    i hate bing leeeeee! ;)

  • +1

FYI - this was the promotional banner that was advertised on CR before 6pm

Credit to TA for the image

    • Same banner still up on the app

      • +1

They could’ve at least added Promotional Products or something 😔

  • +3

Thanks @bargainsgrabber - finally got philips air fryer, I've been needing to replace the old HD9630 still working but the coil inside is so icky now lol - bought that for $364.65 from Myers sale, about 2 years ago. So happy that this newer model HD9650 is $239.01 after all discounts and cashbacks :)

    • Haha I been using my Philips air fryer for about 10 years! Think it was about time to get a replacement :)

    • Hey @h11deo have you got an order confirmation on the air fryer yet?

    • What do you do with the old one?
Mine still works fine, it's just oily with use. Looks perfect on the outside. 5 years old. Paid $200 for it. Don't want it to go to landfill.

  • Is this a Cash Rewards or a Bing Lee issue?

    • Chat is blaming a "third-party". Some miscommunication? Unless BL stuffed up when creating the code.

    • +1

Cash Rewards advertised it wrong, they have since changed it

    • +4

Even if Cash Rewards somehow got the marketing terminology wrong their disclaimer is ridiculous.

Why do you need to list the set of brands that are excluded in the promotion when the promotion only applies to a limited number of products you are adding to the promotional page. Any reasonable person reviewing the Cyber Monday product promotion page ahead of time and reading the description would interpret the terms and conditions of the sale as applying to site wide except the conditions stated.

I'm pressing X to doubt on anything other than wilful deception. They deserve a ban on the next sale.

    • It looks bad on the OP too :/
I read it as sitewide based on the pre-sale banner and from previous deals posted on here

  • +3

    Response from Bing Lee chat:

    Good Evening

At checkout cart there is an option enter coupon code under the price of item

It can sometimes come up with error message when using a specific web browser or a specific device

I would suggest it might be best to try using another web browser or another device and it should go through then

We unfortunately cannot apply the discount code manually

Also, as this is a third party promotion hence it might be best to check with them because the discount is available on your selected item only

Your typical generic response to dodge the issue.

    • They send that with no follow-up to questions, even after a 20 minute wait lol

  • +3

Will still buy the LG C2 but not from Bing Lee. They are a bunch of worthless scums.

Cheapest price with free shipping is from: https://www.appliancecentral.com.au/oled42c2psa-lg-42-inch-4…

  • Bing Lee Clickbait Special

  • +3

Rubbish deal. Many items are OOS or the code does not work

  • Maybe I'm not reading in the right place, but is there a limit to how many times this can be claimed?

    • Maybe I need sleep:
During the 6 hour promo, cashback for Bing Lee is capped at $100 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 6pm 28/11/2022 to 11:59pm AEDT 28/11/2022
But I could swear it wasn't there when I initially checked.

  • +1

    Well that was disappointing
