  • When does the 10% cashrewards start ?

  • +10

At this price the C2 42 is a no brainer if you are thinking of one!

  • Does anyone know binglee do online price matching like jbhifi? Does the code/Cashback will work on top of that? Even after 6pm?

    • Think I've read cashback doesn't work on negotiated deals. Not 100% sure though.

  • +2

If this goes on the phillips airfryer xxl, itll make for a good deal there when you can do the 100 cashback from phillips

    • -1

Cheers, I’ve added onto the deal description for ppl to access it directly :)

    • I just bought it for $399, but Cheddar had 13% cashback.

It comes to $248 in total after discounts.

      This is $9 better

  • +2

Typical… the TV i was watching is now out of stock

  • -6

was tempting to get CS or A80j for my Xbox X, but I am still not convinced about OLED, looks great but for how long? possibility of burn in will haunt me, especially having kids around who can just pause and forget about it

so settled for 2022 Samsung QLED 55 incher for $1k direct from Samsung. call Samsung for loyalty discount and get an awesome deal. I got loyalty discount 30% off already reduced prices, but YMMV, some models they were willing to discount only 15% further

    • +5

Most new OLEDS have auto refresh, they change the screen slightly after X mins. Someone else can explain it better but you dont have to worry about burn in.

        • +3

          You heard wrong.

          • @theory: not really. there are software workarounds and smart features that are designed to prevent burn in, that doesn't mean that burn-in isn't an issue any more - it's just mitigated at software level

which is fine, but I'm keen to give them a couple more iterations to improve the technology, and then jump ship.

            • +1

@shabaka: The technology has been improved. Now is the time to buy.

It's not just "software workarounds". There were changes to subpixel sizes in 2018 and 2019. Substantial changes to the panel material this year which mean it isn't running as hard for the same light output.

If you're really worried get a C2 or G2 with the OLED EX panel.

              • -1

@tp0: thank you! I agree that OLED EX is the kind of improvement I am waiting for, I'll let them advance even further - and get C2 or whatever will be phasing out year from now, or next gen if the price is good.

yes the technology in C2 may be good, the price is higher than what I am prepared to pay: I only will use 55" for occasional gaming and movies, and AFL season. not a TV family here

                • @shabaka: You’re missing that ACL does protect you against burn in within a reasonable time after warranty

    • +4

LG replaced my B7 screen for free after almost four years of ownership. It did get pixel-wear from HUD, but they replaced it outside of the warranty period, so will get a few more years at least. I've had a C1 for about a year now and no issues as yet. I struggle with any other TV now - OLED is just superior!

    • +1

Cheers, I’ve added onto the deal description for ppl to access it directly :)

    • +1

Should Sony A95K also be included? Been looking to buy at $4500 price point.

      • I'm holding out for this too!

        Hopefully!

Otherwise you may be able to get a decent price through this deal direct with Sony and 12% cashback https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/741336

        • $4788 at GGC

          • @JHoliday: Asked JB live chat to price match this deal but they said they don't price match coupons or cashbacks.

They said best they could do was $4880

      • I did manage to bargain the Sony A95K down to $4500 at JB HiFi yesterday.

        • Please could you share receipt in a PM? Includes delivery?

  • +1

Bing Lee won't ship the TV to SA.

    • crap

    • Could try price match with jb but then you won't get the cashrewards

  • Is anyone aware if CR tracking for BingLee is better via phone app or browser extension? Mindful other stores for some reason track better through one or the other…

    • +2

Personally I just go to the CR site on a browser (not a smartphone)
Find the binglee offer and click on it

You then see a specific redirect address being reached

That way I’m positive it worked

  • Patiently waiting for something similar from The Good Guys.

    • But 42 inch is oos in tgg

    • TGG better than Bing Lee in general?

      • If you don’t have local BL stores in your region TGG is simpler

  • +1

Hmm tempting to grab. CS 65 using the cashsrewards…

    • Nearly at the ATL of 2270.
And don't think you'll ever get anywhere close again, esp when it's as easy as this (no price matching either)

  • +1

Must resist getting the C2 for my room, else I'll probably cave and buy a next gen console shortly after.

    • +2

Can confirm. Am buying Series X because I have new TV.

  • Do they provide tax invoice with GST?

  • I'm trying to find the claim page for the AirFryer but no luck. I only got this far.

  • +1

I bought the 42" C2 from TGG when it was on special a few days ago, be aware that the size 42" is to use as a monitor. It will be too small if you want to lay back and watch TV/Gaming. I would suggest at least the 48".

    • Anybody know why we haven't seen any decent sales on the C2 48"? Been hanging out for one, expected it'd come to around $1500-1600…

    • +1

But 48 can’t use as an monitor too big, I sold my Fo48u for this 42 inch a few days ago, for $1288 at TGG(sold out now). Wish it could be smaller, like 36-38.

      • So you still find 42" too big?

I was waiting for AW3423DWF sale, but nothing this weekend. Now if I can get this Lg C2 at 6pm… i think ill just go this instead. Only concern is too big for monitor. (I do have a deep desk)

        • +3

I can help you with that. I have been using a 43" LG 4K monitor for almost two years. Primarily for office work (lost of docos and text), but some movies and little bit of gaming. 100-125% scaling.
My desk is 80cm deep. For the first few months I have been having headaches. I later realized it is because the bright big surface is too close to me.So I bought a floor standing TV stand and put the monitor a few CM behind the desk (the monitor screen itself) and switched to dark mode everywhere. Since then it is perfect, no neck issues, no headaches.
I bought the LG C2 42" last week in JBHifi. The biggest immediate difference is the reflection handling. It is a very reflective finish and I constantly see reflections on the screen and it is quite annoying (dark backgrounds everywhere on PC). I had to adjust lighting in the room to avoid light shining directly on objects behind me. The deep blacks are very comfy on the eyes and the text is super sharp (I was afraid of the WRGB pixel layout but on 42" is no issue, 48" C1 was sh*t)
The two legs on the C2 make it possible to put it almost on the edge of the desk so the TV stand on 80cm deep table may not even be needed.

I was also considering the Alienware QD OLED monitor but the triangle pixel layout ruined it for me and the 4K resolution is so much more work space.
For gaming and movies alone the Alienware might still be better as it pushes the graphics card less and the colours are even more vibrant.

Despite the bloody reflections I do not so far regret going with the 42" LG C2.

          • @goodwillN1: my desk is only 60cm deep, should I forget it?

            • @Stylez: That's too shallow. Wouldn't recommend it

          • @goodwillN1: thanks mate, really appreciate the detailed response.

it is such a hard choice, because there is clear Pros of each.

My desk is deep enough and I'll be gaming only… still time to think before 6pm!

  • Will the 2 codes (Bing Lee and Cashrewards) work together? Ive been caught out before using a website code and CR.

    • +4

The CYBER10 code will be listed on CR when the sitewide discount starts

  • What about Sony A95K?

    https://www.binglee.com.au/products/sony-65-inch-bravia-xr-a…

    Another 10% off on $4995?

  • Damn it! I wish they started this earlier! Then I could price match at JB Hi-Fi, then use my 15% off TCN gift cards for an LG C2 42 inch! That'd make it $1,061.82!

But as it stands, my local JB is out of stock anyway and I'm stuck with gift cards I can't use to buy the TV. What to do, what to do…

    • Use cards for next year and get this 👍always another sale around the bend my friend

    • I'm going to take a punt here but it is worth looking into, but is there anyways to use card swap system? i don't know it that well myself but that was always my impression of those websites

      • Unfortunately no card swapping. My next thought is to buy something else, then get it refunded. Then they will give me a refund in fjb gift cards, which I can use on their website to buy. I'm in Newcastle and no stock, would have to pick up in Sydney.

  • +1

Is this deal listed anywhere? Maybe I can show JB Hi-fi online chat at 5:59pm…

  • -1
    • Cashback is ineligible when using codes not listed on Cashrewards

Then does this means the $100 off won't apply if we use the "CYBER10" code?

  • Ah.. they jacked up the price on a few sale items from last week

  • Looks like the c2 42 needs to add delivery cost, out of stock in stores.

  • +2

Just matched LG C2 42'' to $1348 (Appliance Central) and use 10% off gift card to make it $1213.2, BingLee will be $1,149.20 + 40 postage after cashback. No big difference and you don't need to wait. LG C2 42'' is available in a lot of JB Hifi.

  • +1

    No postage to SA 🥲

  • Anyone know how i can get JB to price match this?

    • I always just call up JB sales line 13 52 44 and price match over the phone.

They send you link to checkout yourself. Best part is you know if they will do it or not without wasting time going in,

Hopefully you dont end up at a stores phoneline, you want the online sales team. This hasn't happened to me for ages though

      • But you can't use gift card?

        • oh i see.. I use JB gift cards doing this method…

But I guess everyone wants to use the 10% Ultimate Gift Cards from woolies?

Which prob only work in-store :\

      • I chatted and JB won't match it since is not happened yet and jb phone line close at 6pm when the Bing lee sales starts so i think BingLee purposely make it so late

        • I tried via chat and same answer. Cant match a coupon code so you didn't miss out

  • Does this mean using the discount code will make cash rewards ineligible? "Cashback is ineligible when using codes not listed on Cashrewards."

    • +2

I’ve answered it above already :)

  • Will gift card usage impact cashback?

    • +1

Stated on CR under cashback tips:

You may not be eligible for Cashback:
If a gift card is purchased or used as payment.

  • +1

    $1059 for the 128gb Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra ($1288 > $1159 after 10% > $1059 after cashback). Cheapest I've seen during Black Friday sales.

Most preferred models out of stock though. 256gb black was available an hour ago but isn't now (guess someone didn't know about the sale!) so stock is probably limited.

  • Any deals on Bing Lee Gift cards at 10-15% off ?

  • +1

    Best c2 42 monitor arms sub $300?

    • The guys at Atdec are incredible, little on the pricey side but Sydney based. Give them an email and they’ll tell you what you need. You will need an adapter for the 42’s mounting pattern.

  • Does anyone know if the TCL 85P735 is any good for general viewing (not gaming)? Specs say many local dimming zones but not sure if that's good enough for a screen this size. Thanks

  • +1

Samsung Q990B Soundbar drops to $1255.50, and $1155.50 with the Cashrewards 10%.

  • So I got a fridge that I want but it says available to order. Does that mean it would be not be eligible under the "pre-orders, back-orders" policy mentioned in the terms and conditions?

    https://www.binglee.com.au/products/samsung-srs620mdmb-621l-…

    • Looks like it's just an online-only product

  • Bing lee is unable to add my shipping address does that mean they can't deliver anything to my house address.

  • After a 900mm induction cooktop but none of them ship to my location, and closest click and collect is like 100km :/

  • +9

CYBER10: This discount code isn't applicable to any of the items in your cart.

    • +1

I'm getting the same thing. I thought it was "sitewide" :(

      • +3

Sitewide apart from a select list of vendors, but the code doesnt appear to work on anything

    • +1

      Same, trying to get a S95B 65"

Edit: "not available … in conjunction with any other offer or promotion", so because it is already "on sale" it's not eligible

Also cashback is capped at $100
