    Back at it to OZmsrp

  • Are XSX still hard to get? How about going into the christmas season?

      • +2

        None around me at all.

    • +1

I believe the click and collect only policy is to prevent scalping (not sure if scalping still happens for console though)

      • +2

I walked into JB to pick up a few things last week and saw a guy walk out with not 1, not 2 but 3 of them.

Scalpers will always find a way.

        • And how does he become a scalper buying 3? Could be buying them for xmas presents…..

          • @teddiebear: tax avoiding crypto to cash

            • @Casey Jones: I'd put money on it that 99.999% of miners didn't pay a single cent tax on the money they made from mining. I brought it up in a post comment once and was laughed at lol. I'd lmao if they got a tax audit! Lol

              • @teddiebear: Income tax was introduced as ww2 funding. Now youre going to pay tax on all those holocaust museums

        • did you headbutt him and call him a nancy?

How do you have LOCAL stores in 2 separate capital cities…

  • +1

    Sadly not available near me…

Unavailable within 200km of your entered location.

I bought XSS a few days ago that not opened yet😅, anyway I can HODL till oneday XSX can apply discount and get CB…

I wish it available in 2nd or 3rd quarters of 2023.

    • If you'd loaded up on 15% off gift cards or amex $150 off, you'd have one now.

You'll probably be waiting until next black Friday to get 15% off again, sooner if youre ok with only 10% discount

      • I know that, and my XSS also paid by 15% off GC but I wanna double dip!

      Why don't you try S?
      What is your monitor specification?

      I have 1440p monitor / 27 inch.
My TV is 4k but I play games with my monitor not TV.

I had series S for a year and sold it after I purchased X. I paid more than 300 dollar in this exchange process.

If I could go back, I would've kept series S. And with the money (300), i would've purchased Nintendo Switch as S was the perfect device on my gaming conditions.

Yes, it had a smaller hard capacity. And no disc. Also, no enchanted graphics from previous gens in some games.

But it is compact and easy to carry. Most games works very well. I miss my series S.

      • I already have but I don't have time…😔

I have to unpack a lot of boxes those are I bought last 2 months… but super tired and not enough time for that…

Just stacking boxes in my house now…

Maybe it's 50% is due to my lazy…😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨

$599 at Microsoft after AmEx offer

    • OOS for a few days. Maybe a restock in a month. It will be tight as to whether we get to use the amex offer before it expires

      • +3

You can buy $500 of Xbox gift cards from the website and then hold it in your account until a restock occurs, no?

        • +2

exactly. just buy gift cards, get AmEx cashback and redeem when in stock

        • Thanks for the tip, will the Amex credit works on the Xbox website (linked from Microsoft website when clicked the Xbox)?

Also if we buy Microsoft / Xbox GC, when we pay for the Xbox in future, do they accept split payment online (GC + balance) or we need to go into Microsoft store to pay etc? Thanks

          • +1

@OZGE: you can buy xbox directly on microsoft store here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/d/xbox-series-x/8wj714n3rbtl

this way you don't need to go to Xbox.com

          • +1

@OZGE: Buying from Xbox, they’ll draw down your credit balance first and then charge your main payment method for anything after that.

But since you can get 10% discount on Xbox gift cards from ShopBack/Cashrewards, I’d just buy the extra $250 in gift cards from them.

        • Thanks guys, will keep an eye for stock on MS website, if no stock I plan to buy Xbox or MS GC before the Amex deal expire.

Is there difference to buy Xbox or Microsoft GC? E.g. I presume Xbox GC would be used on Xbox website, then MS GC be used on MS website? Hence might need to keep an eye for both website haha.

            @OZGE: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/d/Xbox-series-x-accessory-bu…

Microsoft store doesn't allow to add Xbox X on its own, but the bundle can be bought and checked out, FWIW. Minimum you need to bundle Xbox X with Wbox wired headset or second wireless controller for $89

still not bad since you'd probably want to buy second controller, or a headset, or Elite controller anyway

            • @shabaka: Thanks for the head up.

I have an Elite 2 controller core already, not really need an extra wireless controller, but it is still good deal I guess and I might need to sell on the extra wireless controller if I got down that path (combo)

              • @OZGE: same, I got elite 2 white core edition lol

      • +1

didn't know it was still in limited stock. got mine from Microsoft store last week as soon as AmEx deal was posted

and it's been in stock there since September I believe

        • Nah, been oos since Thursday

    OZRRP

  • Looks like I would have to travel 1 billion kilometers to collect one.

  • How are these things still out of stock you would think everyone who wants one would have one by now

  • +3

Not wrong about you not posting any deals.

    • Hardly!

  • +3

Damn, I’ve accidentally logged into OzRRPinstockNotifications again…

Fair call when these were rare items and you had to get on a list to be on the list to get on a pre-order list… but now when just about every retailer has these in stock?

    • but now when just about every retailer has these in stock?

Who has? Nowhere i can see near me is showing stock.

      Tried JB, EB, Harvies, BigW.

  • Oops! We can't find the page you're looking for.

  • +2

came looking for OzRRP comments, was not disappointed!

  • +1

At least the price didn't get jacked up by 50 bucks i guess?

  • JB is playing with us :(

    • It is playing hide and seek:) Call the store to check the stock might be a better idea.
