Missed out on the Microsoft $99 deal for these. $139 is still a decent price. If you want white that listing shows 1 white in stock. IMO black looks nicer.

Be careful! These might be sending photos of inside your ears back to Chinese government for military use!!

I have ordered these and returned as the volume control gestures are very hard to manage especially when you are on a phone call as it disconnects the calls. This is due to its confusion to register between a slide and a tap.

Also pulling the earphones out of the box is a PITA. The extremely smooth finis, small footprint and very powerful magnetic pull of the charging box makes it a chore to just get the buds out.

If you think you can live with it, these are extremely powerful and good.

I for one use the lower variant freebuds 4i which is almost equally good and only about $79 most times.

    • Lucky Microsoft canceled my order. Already got 4i

You might want to work on your grip strength, maybe some deadlifts. Adjusting volume is easy, much quicker than galaxy buds.

Really? Full disclosure I've only purchased it recently, but find the gestures to be very distinct.

There are 4 very clear contact points on each buds, 2 on each side. Swiping two contact points on one side up or down controls the volume and pinching two contact points on opposite ends for play/pause and disconnect calls.

Basically one gesture involves pinching 2 opposite sides, the other involves swiping on one side. To me, it's impossible to mix the two

Yeh I have those and they are brilliant. A little too big for my tiny ears but the audio quality and the control gestures are great. I dunno how big or small your fingers are or possibly a fault unit?

definitely agree, disappointed after 4i but luckily it was detected and returned it. In my opinion 4i louder, same quality sound, good battery etc.

    Completely agree, not worth

  • I got them from Microsoft for $99. They're ok for the price. But I wouldn't pay more. Cool gesture controls but no where near the sound quality of my Sony xm3 earbuds, it's a day and night difference.

Did you adjust eq? These have a v shape, so playing around with eq will make them more neutral

      • Nope. Is it in its app? Such a crappy app I deleted it. It kept losing the earphones (kept saying disconnected while I'm listening)

        • My s20 fe has option in setting. You can also download third party apps

  • I got it for recent $99 sale. Its started showing issues with < 3 hours usage. cracking sound. Not sure if I should get refund or a replacement.

  • I also got them in the $99 sale recently. No issues here and pretty impressed so far!
