      • Genuine question, how is that one much better? Though this one has a smaller HD it has a newer processor, is that processor faster than this one or is there something else?

    • I like the look of the deals and cases on the Titan Tech site, however I usually stay clear of sites that don't list a physical address.

Any chance we'll ever see a 3070 gaming PC deal like this again? I wish I got it

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/723611

    • Apparently BPC will have a 3070 deal soon.

      • Yes but they said it'll be Intel Core i9 12th Gen, which will most likely make the PC way too expensive compared to the deal I posted

        • Ah fair enough.

        • No they said cheaper and better than techfast

@MuddyClear: Proof? I don't want to get my hopes up without solid proof

    • Amd mobo has become a lot more expensive since September, so probably not

    • +1

      That's like perfect midrange build!

  • Wheres the DVD drive :D

Pretty good deal, did a new build last month with the same gpu (Gigabyte) and CPU, 32gb ram, upgraded cooler 850w psu and decent Motherboard with a lan li case, cost me $2400 and had to build it, so 1800 is pretty good!

    • Dealing with techfast on warranty is worst than Harvey Norman

  • Anyone got details on the case specs? Trying to find more details on SSD/HDD slots and aftermarket case fan additions. A PSU shroud would be nice too. Nothing on Google.

    • Curious to know this too, I'd be wanting to add a few HDDs

Most likely, it is a generic branded case, like the ones used by many other builders, so probably 2 2.5'' slots and 2 3.5'' bays.

Looking at the AIO upgrade option, you probably can fit two more 120mm fans, but they most liekly use cheap mobo, which doesn't have many fan headers. But the case fans should be generic molex fans, so you should be able to get a splitter to run 2 more case fans and the CPU cooler

Any alternative to the case; particularly black?

Hey luke, placed an order in november for the 3060 deal, was wondering if theres an eta as its been a month now

    • +1

      any updates?

    • Caleb told me my system(3060ti-Nov) will be delivered sometimes after Christmas…

      • I got the same timeframe for this one

Less than a year ago, the RTX 3080 10GB GPU will cost more than $1799.

  • Will this play APEX legands? Asking for daughter who needs a gaming PC to keep up with the nerdy jocks she plays against. prefer to spend less than this. Any suggestions. Thnx

I think a mid tier card like 3060 12g would do just fine for apex. The current $899 deal from tech fast have the 8g which sucks, but you definitely don’t need to spend flagship price for apex legends. Both mid ranger lines from nv and amd will do at least 144fps on 1080p ultra setting and very competitive fps on 1440p. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/742738
I think something like this would be perfect, but this particular deal have some things to take note:
-not good cpu (probably want to upgrade to 5600x for extra $119
-no wifi support on base mobo another hundred here for the msi upgrade.
Maybe wait and see if any other deals comes up for the Christmas sale, hope this helps.

ryzen 5500 vs 5600 net very little difference, not worth the price difference I think.

    • Yes - it will easily run apex. You could even get a 3070 build instead which costs $300 less or so and you’d run that game fine.

Very nice. Might hold on and see what you've got for boxing day though, the 4080 deal was tempting but processors could've been better..

Just an update on the shipping times, had a quick chat with Caleb, and he said these desktops will be built end of Dec, and delivered around early new years.

  • Just curious, do they use the oem one fan style graphic cards?

  • +1

Hope you're all well and had a great Christmas.

Do you have any updates on the progress of these builds?

As per the advertisement the shipping was indicated for late December. As we're now in Early Janurary, can you please provide an estimation for when we're expected to receive these orders?

    Ta!
