    Hi Luke.

I know its a few weeks out but will you be doing builds for the new radeon GPU's next month? not enjoying the whole mark it up and let people eat it up movement from team green.

Understandable if you have no comment since its still a ways away.

Hi Luke, will there be any 3080 or 3090 builds any time soon? I'm looking for a build with something like an i7 12700F Processor, 32gb ram or more, and a 3080 or better at a similar-ish price point, maybe a bit cheaper.

Any deals on a system $1500 to $2000 coming soon?

I would snap either https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/720558 or https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/719084 up in an instant!

Hey Luke, do you know if there will be anything similar with a 4090 sometime soon?

    Something for @ $1500-$1700 pls

  • Intel i5-12400F Vs AMD 5700X - looks like intel comes in front!!

Brilliant - just ordered with decent bells and whistles (12700F, 850W, 360mm cooling and more RAM). First time ordering a pre-built but the value is there for me on price, plus good component options I won't be stressing about only wanting to upgrade immediately after ordering.

I was a little over building my own computers after two faulty motherboards in the past few years but hadn't ever seen a pre-built that was good value and didn't have at least one 'oh God why' component. Saw the other 4080 deal and ordered the 5700X - then saw this and annoyingly cancelled and re-ordered (Techfast Customer Service was excellent though; multiple replies within the same business day twice to transfer credit from that purchase etc).

Also - won't link the competitor but the system I'm ordering is strictly better than another 4080 pre-built offered by a different company which is priced at more than $1000 more even after its claim of an $800 discount on the original price.

This comment is super positive so I'll specify 'not associated with TechFast' and have never used them before but yeah - good enough value and parts that I'm joining pre-built land and wanted to comment as I'm surprised.

    • Question, why didn't you upgrade the mobo?

      • +2

Sorry - just didn't list it! I did; and the OS SSD to 1TB.

EDIT: Since posting I don't have buyer's regret as I won't upgrade again for ages - but there have been subsequent similar but slightly more expensive DDR5 RAM + compatible motherboard combos with a GTX 4080 I'd consider if I hadn't decided I was tapped out of the building game.

Thanks mate, for sharing; I'm in the market for one and gave incredible weight to your comment. Thanks for chiming in again!

    • Very scary, I purchased their RTX 2080 pre built and the system didn't even last a single year, never again with Techfast.

Shoddy crap it's only cheap because the build is cheap, far better off building your own.

  • Very much keen to grab this. Will likely upgrade the PSU and cooling - as someone who has not kept up with emerging tech and monitored pricing considering all the new releases, can someone comment on the value of this? I've used CPU compare, but can anyone comment on the AMD version (with upgraded option vs intel)?

@Luke do you have plans to do another 3070 or 3080 deal anytime soon? I'm right about to pull the trigger on a build and I'm gonna want to shoot myself if you release something similar at a fraction of the price right after haha.

  • Caleb, I emailed you waiting for response. Phone support would be helpful.

  • When I go to the deal it’s 200$ more?

  • Hi Luke, can you tell me the status of my order?
