Bonus 50GB Data for 3 months: Available to Consumer and Business (excl. TechFund and Fleet) customers with an eligible mobile SIM plan (ex Prepaid). Account Holder must log into the My Optus app between 12/12/22 – 15/01/23 to activate per service. Bonus data is available as 50GB per month for 3 months (month ends at end of your payment cycle) and is forfeited if you cancel your eligible plan or move to an ineligible plan or your service is disconnected. One bonus data per eligible service. Ends 15/01/23.

        I have the app. I'm logged in. I looked at my services but none of them have this offer.

  I'm on the 5gb data only sim plan (usually $15 but I got 50% off for the first 12 months so $7.50)

  The "add-ons" tab is just blank. (but the app seems buggy as hell for me, and I often get blank pages, or stuck on loading)

  Doubt it, but anyone managed to get this to work on this same plan?

    I have, same plan as you. $7.50 for the first 12 months, I also have an extra 4 data sims attached and got 50gb for each, 250gb in total.

    lol wow such a n noble and charitable initiative by optus.

    why not collect up a bit of whatever spare bandwidth they currently got available in their tubez (or I mean scraps of spare "data" pieces) and donate these datas to these less fortunate people

  Fun* story: I went to Optus AFTER the data breach because I was sick of being ripped off by Telstra with their “upfront” plans. Went from $58 per month to $24.50 per month. Turns out the product is unusable, customer service is shocking and I’m still waiting on the TIO to finalise my case so I’m now with Vodafone prepaid for $25 every four weeks. Lesson learnt.

    Now Vodafone is a truly unusable. Awful reception meant I couldn’t use normal speed 4g internet wirking in an office building in the middle of the cbd. Telstra/Optus both improved reception immediately.

  I wasn't eligible for this deal. Am on the recent Samsung Galaxy S22 128GB $0 Upfront on Optus 60GB/M $49/M Plan for 24 Months (New/Port-in) @ Harvey Norman, Domayne, Joyce Mayne.

  The My Optus app shows me an empty list in the Data Boosts with a greyed out Continue button. I tested before and after my monthly billing date.

  No biggy as I haven't exceeded half my plan's 4G data. Maybe its a good thing as it means less internet congestion. My biggest bottleneck is Optus 4G speeds being very slow in my area during peak times. I would have preferred a speed boost or gaming trickery like optimised routing.

  funny people complaining about their data being stolen (me too), but by using this website and viewing other pages you are giving your data away for free.
