Hey All long time user.

Thought i would share this sony xm5 deal at JB HiFi, seems too good to be true. Proabably a pricing error with their deal of the xm4 but worth a shot/try your luck. Make sure to use the discount code.
Unfortunately I bought mine full retail price :( earlier last week. So i have not tried.

    Does the XM5 works well with Microsoft Teams on Windows?
    I have several issues with Teams and my XM4 (had to manually switch the sound picker on Windows whenever i had a team meeting).

    I returned the XM4 and bought a Anker QC30 instead. Really happy with it, but the XM5 for $350 is really tempting

        on Amazon. I tried the XM4 for a few weeks and return it within the 30 days period. Bought the qc30 instead at 109$. (bought as well a Oral B IO8 for $219). So for less of the price of the XM4 I got a good headphone and a new toothbrush ^^

    still rocking the 3's tho. wish i had the multi device capability, but oh well.

    dyk, that the 3's have the best iOS bluetooth latency?

    3 - 30ms
    4 - 38ms
    5 - 64ms

    however, the 3's have the worst single board bluetooth latency, but not by much.

    4's the sweetspot. the majority of ears stick out from the head Sony.

    Can anyone confirm if Sony and Samsung have sorted out their beef yet? My XM3's connect to my Samsung TV via bluetooth but XM4's do not.

    Would be great if someone can let me know if they have tested these with Samsung TV's?

              @ivyholmes: chat wasnt helpful at all - said they were sales so i had to submit a support ticket which was then sent to the store i bought the item. the store's manager actually approved my request and i got $150 refund (bought mine for $499 during Black Friday). she did say i had to come in today though.

    Picked up mine! Chick was visibly confused checking stuff twice, but didn't actually question it. Being waiting for an update since the 3's and my instant opinion is how much nicer they feel to wear, despite supposedly being worse in reviews, just happy I can connect 2 devices now :')

        had the 4, the ear cup is worse in my opinion, the material feels worse, and it is not big at all, also not as deep since the pads from 4 are actually little bit more ridged so my ear sits deeper, the 5's pad feels like it got squeezed easily due to how extra soft it is. thus more ear touching, feels hotter to wear.

    Rushed and Picked up mine. There were like 4 units waiting to be picked up at the billing counter and seemed like they were going to honour it if they were already ready for pick up.
