just bought the drill kit and saw this….would snap this up but already have the angle grinder! legit bargain here folks…

    I recently bought the impact driver skin for $109 :(

    There is also a lot with a circular saw added and one of the batteries upped to 4Ah which is a great deal too.

    Nice kit but packaged with only 2Ah batteries which are really only useful for low current use. Better to at least pack a 4Ah battery in place of the 2.

        Yes for lighter. But you won't get max power without using a 4 or 6ah battery generally.

    2ah batteries are ideal for impact driver use and 90% of the work that drill could handle. Angle grinders tend to be used for longer periods and really benefit from a bigger battery.

      just so you know…i checked it out & seemed a bit 'light duty'…
      more of a way to package the kit for sale rather than a heavy duty tool box…smaller than i expected too

      yeah no worries i reckon….i have on older ryobi grinder skin and it would have no problem doing that…
      the grinder empties the 2.0ah batteries pretty quickly though…but youve got two of them, so theres that

      It will do it no problem. In the past I have used an older Ryobi 18v angle grinder to cut a heap of 1/2 inch rebar as well as the usual stuff.

    I used to have Ryobi tools but all of the batteries stopped holding a charge after around 2-3 years. The batteries in my Dewalt tools are still going strong 6 or 7 years later with pretty much daily use.

    All the people looking to buy a grinder - think the other way - The other skins are selling on Gumtree for $50.00 so you have 2 batteries and an Angle grinder for $77.00 - the batteries may not be great for the grinder - but you could probably sell the other skins WITH batteries for $75.00 giving you an angle grinder for $27.00

    Milwaukee grinder $600.. this whole kit $170…

    Says enough really. You couldn't even buy a Milwaukee battery and charger for $170 or DeWalt.
    DeWalt grinder skin $190 for very base model. $300+ for anything good.

    Once you go Milwaukee you never can go back, it's just too bloody good!!!!

    Anyway next time at Bunnings check the returns counter, FILLED with Ryobi junk.

    Thanks OP, great find. They were hidden at my local Bunnings, I'd have never known about it. Was going to go for the 3 piece mower combo but it's not brushless. The angle grinder in this combo feels quite sturdy.
