    AW2521HFL is a bargain @ $263.64. Cheapest ever by a long way I'd think.

    • Good to connect a MacBook M1 to?

      • You could, but better off going with a higher resolution for Mac

      • +4

Nup. Get a 60fps 4k panel with much better colours instead

      • Thanks fam

      • +7

That monitor is relevant for competitive FPS gamers and literally no one else.

      • +2

Not at all. I had this (upgraded to the 360hz panel when it came out).
When plugged in to the M1, both of them have a glitch where the image (profanity) up randomly, and stays on the screen for up to 30 minutes even after restarting / unplugging the screen.
Luckily I wasn't watching porn or I'd have to hide the screen.

      • best is prob the Dell U2723QE

  • +17

Been a suprisingly long time since there's been a deal on the 27" 4K Dell's - thought this would be the one but no luck :(

    Thanks anyway OP

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Muzeeb The Wise?

I thought not. It's not a story the mods would tell you. It's an OzBargain legend.

Darth Muzeeb was a Dark Lord of Dell Support, so powerful and so wise he could use the customer chat to expedite orders… He had such a knowledge of customer service that he could even keep the orders he cared about from cancellation.

The dark side of price errors is a pathway to many bargains some consider to be unnatural.

He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his job, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught management everything he knew, then his boss killed his contract in his sleep.

Ironic. He could save others hundreds of dollars, but not himself.

    • +17

      Lol

    • +3

I like to think he had a few sent to his place.

    • +8

"Bargain or do not. There is no price error."

    • +8

Is it possible to learn this power?

      • +13

        Not from Dell's onboarding process.

    • +4

      Generated by ChatGPT

      • +6

Maybe, if ChatGPT was slow and borderline autistic…

  • Looking for Murzeeb

    • +8

      Murzeeb

Is that a cousin of Muzeeb?

  • +2

    Didn't dealbot post this earlier?

    • +2

Yep. Deleted it after everyone started piling on them for the Prezzee deal.

      • Lol that would be funny if he did that to cover his trace

I have both an Alienware 410K and 510K, so the low profile and the standard cheery switch keyboards. I think they're both great but that's just my opinion. I used the low profile for gaming whilst the standard for work/study

      • +3

        standard cheery switch keyboards

        Hope they make you happy.

    • Yes, I have been using this one, and it is fantastic! (mouse was not good though)

  • +5

Shame the G3223Q is not included.

    • +1

Yeah, it’s been removed from eBay for a while now :(

      • Ah did they? Damn. Anything else with these specs are quite expensive.

  • +1

On the days before Christmas, Muzeeb gave to me

    • +2

      Another Dell pricing error?

  • +1

Is this Dell deal likely to return?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/738054

  • $12 less but I got mine before Xmas….

  • There’s not available at all…
Was hoping to find 27” QHD monitor or docking station

  • Damn, just got the G3223D on the previous deal and paid $423.20 for it FML.

  • This or wait for U4919DW? I know they are targeting totally different user group. Productivity and screen landscape means more to me.

  • Dell s2721dgf vs G3223D .
    Does anyone have a review/comparison?
    Rtings has a G3220 comparison.

  • +2

    No S2722QC?

  • +2

Too bad the QD-OLEDs aren't listed on there or I'd buy one immediately

  • The G3223D is better than the s2722qc right?

    Thanks

Edit Actually don't worry, realised QHD is not 4k.

  • Cheers OP, bought the G3223D! :)

    • +2

I got mine on Tues (after buying on the 13th). You won't regret this - it's a great bit of kit.
And don't be put off by Dell's wacky delivery estimates, seems they under-promise and over-deliver.

      • Excellent, thankyou :)

  • Is 20% off the highest discount we ever had in history for non-ebay plus user?

  • Ordered the G3223D before they go out of stock, looks like a decent wait for shipping which is fine.

I wanted bigger than my S2721QS, but slightly concerned about the increase in size and drop in resolution, should I be worried?

    • +2

      American customers only

  • +3

Yeah why have most monitors (esp good gaming ones) been delisted from ebay??

    • -1

My best guess is the 2023 models are replacing them and they have stopped production of the 2022 models

  • Is the xps listed a decent model? It looks good to me, but I'm ignorant about the U versions of the CPUs, looking for something that can be used for development work, including running VMs?

  • Man I gotta stay off this site. An hour ago I didn't need a new 32inch 4k monitor but now I've ordered one.

    • +9

Welcome, you must be new here. Please buy some eneloops on the way to your seat.

    • +1

      This is the way.

    • +2

You saved money in the long run sir

    • What 32 inch 4k monitor?

    • You need 2, buy another

  • Looking for a home office monitor. Used mainly for Word processing, pdf and spreadsheets.

    Also web browsing for research

    Any recommendations?

    • +1

Yep, get a C3422DE when they come up. Awesome display and will releive you of around $800-$900

  • Is there a 4K version that supports PS5 `120Hz' gaming?

    • Not on Dell's eBay store. They removed the G3223Q some time ago…

  • No good laptop deal this round seems like

  • Is G3223Q basically a 4K version of G3223D?

What is currently regarded as the best cost-effective 4K 32" monitor at the moment? I've fallen out of the loop.

    • Same here… getting a new PC build after my 8 year old desktop bit the dust (mainboard). Have a 27" U2713HM (only 2K) which I still love, but would like a bigger better 4K 32" monitor - preferably something with a bunch of USB's on the back/sides.

I have no idea what's regarded as "good" these days. Not so much for gaming, but viewing/editing 4K content and that has the best colour accuracy and picture quality.

      • I'm after one for gaming so our needs would differ because I want something with a 144hz refresh rate whereas you could probably get something cheaper with a 60hz refresh rate.

        • Still like the look of the G3223Q. Just wish I could get some discount on it. The 7% student discount doesn’t seem to work and the customer service agent I chatted with was offering me a lousy $30 off ($963 something).

  • +1

Has anyone seen good discounts on 27-inch QHD monitors? need to grab 2.

    • +1

None currently on the Dell eBay store, only FHD 1080p

    • me too, waiting for dell 27 qhd deals

    • Why not grab two of these.. i'm running two of them and they are awesome

    • best monitor is the U2723QE, but it's not included in the sale :/

  • Will the usb-c power my laptop and connect to the monitor? or do i still need to plug power cord in with this monitor??

    • +1

Need seperate power with the g3223d, it only supplies 15w

      • Damn. Any recommendations?
Not looking to spend an arm and a leg. 27 or 32 inch with usb-c power. Not a gamer but I work in design so I think 2k resolution would be a minimum.

    • The 15W is enough to keep my work laptop powered for the full day, battery is at 50% after a day of use, still beats using HDMI seperate cable for me

      • Yeah ok interesting. Also, I just quoted other sites, can't say I've verified that 15w… So DYOR anyone searching for an answer still.

        • Yeah not sure how much it is, it charges my Pixel 6A 'rapidly' which is nice

  • holding out For a 4k Monitor at this price ….

  • +1

well looks like the good monitors are not included in this sale, but at least they price match places like Scorptec

    • Can't offer the good ones after the heist Muzeeb pulled, I suppose

  • Got the G3223D the other day for a few bucks more.. Great monitor apart from the terrible HDR.

  • How does the G3223D match with the Xbox Series X?
    - I know it is 1440p > 4k, but this is a $400 temporary solution until a 4k TV (probably 1-2 years away) without spending $800+ on the G3223Q.

  • Received mine today - ETA was late Jan / early Feb, so super excited. Looks great, loving the refresh rate

    • when did you place the order? Whereabouts?

I've placed my oder today in NSW. So wondering when would I receive it?

      • +1

Placed the order around 10:30pm on the 22nd, Greater Sydney region

  • I had a bright white dead pixel on mine which lasted a few days but went away on it's own.. is that normal? I actually created a service case but now thinking I should cancel since it seemed to have fixed itself.

  • For productivity and no gaming, is there any benefit of getting the G3223D over the AOC Q32V3S/WS for $100 less? The G3223D seems brighter but wasn't sure about the panels and build quality.

  • Bit of an old deal but for those interested in future deals doing research:

I was unsure of the size vs resolution coming from decent quality dell and LG 27" 60hz 1440p panels. I was not disappointed with the g3223d. I sit around 1.5m from the screen and I honestly love it. It's my first high refresh rate monitor but I am confident it stands up against the competition, no ghosting at all to my eye. Contrast is not an issue, in fact it is better than a few of the other IPS monitors I have around the house. Gsync works well via freesync.

Have been using it for non-competitive FPS mainly. Bottom line for me is it's picture is beautiful, response time is very good and productivity is strong also. If you can sit far enough away this is a steal at $400 and still a good deal at $500 vs the competition.
