Good for smaller cases and maybe preferable for some instead of a PNY or something the same or similar price. What do you guys think?

      Ventus is low tier MSI, go for gaming X or Z. Heard many issues with Ventus 3090, only comes with 2x 8 pin connectors.

      Gainward surprisingly has good thermal pads/paste.

    Prices are getting better but still not where it should be. The 4080 doesnt really deserve to be an 80 class card its so cut down from the top model. Its not going to be tempting until its closer to $1,600 imo. If people can be patient Amd and nvidia will have to battle it out with the prices, theres no rush . There will be plenty of stock in the next few months are prices will hopefully come down further

    for what? $3000 RTX 5080?

    Look at the price of 3080 10gb now, $1299 brand new, not $800.

    3080 12gb brand new hard to find, 3090 brand new pretty much 'rare' these days.

      I posted (admittedly a blower style people do not like) brand new 3080 for $1050 just a couple of weeks back (black Friday), they're $1199 at the moment but I'm sure will come down again. There are 3090 versions like $1700, which will HAVE to drop with AMD XT already sub $1500 to be found.
