From the review, some of cons:

      • No 12+4-pin PCIe connector
      • Noisy under stressful conditions
      • Low efficiency with light loads
      • Lacks a power switch
      • Loose load regulation

For a power supply at this price point, kinda prefer 10 year warranty like the competition. For a 2000W power supply, prefer a power switch on the power supply as mentioned in the review.

      • Power supplies are most efficient when they're delivering about 80% of their designed max power. A 2kw PSU is going to be very inefficient under a 200W load.

perfect for my i3 +gt 710 set up

  • EVGA SuperNOVA 1600W T2 80+ Titanium is a better choice

  • Any proof this has loose load regulation?

Serious question: Under what circumstances does someone need a 2KW PSU? I imagine professional applications only.

    • I was also thinking about the need for a 2000w unit.
I have seen a video where someone made 2 computers in one case run off a single power supply. So possibly something like this.

    • Right, a multi GPU rendering or machine learning system may require such a PSU (like a Threadripper + 4 GPUs system).
