Nothing wrong with these deals, just be aware that the iPad Mini 4 is not supported with the latest and future iOS releases.
It can't handle iOS 16, but can handle the previous version, iOS 15.7.2

    I just downgraded from the Mini 6, typing this comment on the 4 now.
    Of course it’s much slower, especially when switching between apps. Reducing motion and enabling cross-fade transitions in Accessibility options seems to make it appear a little snappier.
    Disappointed that SMS messages don’t work on cellular (need an active iPhone to forward SMS) as my use case was to replace my clunky iPhone SE while I’m at home during the week. Otherwise data is fine using my Kogan iPhone SIM card. Oh well, got to hang on to the iPhone for now (for those 2-factor SMS security codes… grr)
    Overall I’m happy with my Mini 4 - all day battery, excellent condition as advertised, and more comfortable to hold than the 6 because of the thinner edges.

  No, just get the standard. Much cheaper, larger and basic. They are also now compatible with ✏️ Gen 1. iPad mini is cool but your kid won’t benefit from any extra features it offers.

For people who got the ipad mini 4 , I am not able to connect to the wifi at home on the initial screen, it just keeps reconnecting and not progressing to the next screen. Any help appreciated
