Buffalo WCR-GN Wireless N150 Router $10 + $10 Shipping to Capital Cities

90

This wireless N150 router was advertised for $19.95 excluding shipping two days ago in eStore's subscriber e-mail. It is now $10 excluding shipping. I suspect it may be a pricing error.

Shipping to capital cities is capped at $10, or free for orders over $200.

  • Any good?

  • It's DD-WRT supported so can be used as a wifi extender.

      Worth buying for that alone?

      • is there a guide for setting this up?

      • Yes, bought one myself to replace my Linksys Wireless G at home for HD movies streaming. It can be used as a Wifi repeater bridge to be exact which is very similar to a wifi extender.

  • Thanks, got one. Review here.

May not be a pricing error, may be simply getting rid of old stock since it's been on the market for about a year.

Apparently is supported by DD-WRT and OpenWRT.

was it $10 for you? It's $19.95 now.

      • Yes, looks like I bought it in time or they discovered their error. Lucky I didn't spend more time looking for more reviews and reports of compatibility with *WRT.

jdr, I said it might be a pricing error so you know it can disappear at any time. Is that a valid reason to neg my post simply because you missed out?

        • -5

I'd call that a valid reason for a neg. This is exploiting a pricing error - that error has been fixed. There is no guarantee that anyone who managed to order one will actually get it - they are more than within their rights to cancel the order.

No one can get the deal you posted, I would mark it expired. Good luck to anyone that placed an order

Well alvian, I probably was a bit harsh as you did suspect it might be an error. I'll revoke it, sorry.

        • +1

Well nobody knew ahead of time if it was a pricing error so in principle this is no different from those limited offers that come up now and then. And Alvian did mark it as expired as soon as it was obvious it was over.

I'm not going to be heartbroken if eStore refunds my money. I'll just get on with my life. If they do honour the price then I'll be happy and respect them.

        • Looks like they shipped it this morning according to my account page on their e-commerce site. Kudos to eStore for honouring the price.

  • I have 3 DD-WRT modems already :( and end up using power of ethernet because it is more stable.

  • comes up as $19.95 for me

  • Yep. $19.95. I'm too slow dam it!

    • seems like no deal, just a momentary pricing error.

  • changed the price

  • …got me all excited on a Friday afternoon…

  • Anyone get one?

  • I got it for $10+$10 post so $20 :)

    • Nice.

    • Let us know if you get it - or if they cancel…

      • I got order confirmation and even paid invoicein email see what happens but they would have sold less then a handful so its not going to send them broke…
