  $719.20 with the Westpac portal. Pity they aren't throwing in the battery base.

  EDIT: given the product link for the battery base says it's not for sale, I wonder if they're just not bothering to make any more…
  EDIT2: I'd argue the XGIMI Halo (not even the plus) is probably worth it as it includes a battery in it.

    bought the XGIMI Halo in the last sale and it has been pretty good for the price point (noting netflix issues but I use a chromecast)

    Yeah, when considered at full price of 1300 dollars

    The Xgimi Halo is around 1000 dollars. The Halo Plus is 1400.

    For 700 dollars you're comparing it to sub native 1080 projectors like the Mogo or Ankers, which actually makes the Samsung a pretty decent value proposition

    230 ansi. Pretty much have to be in a dark room to have anything above a large TV size screen equivalent.

  There are a few portable projectors with better image quality and integrated batteries for similar money to the Samsung. I don't remember all the models I looked up when this thing came out but I believe one of the better rated ones is the BenQ.
