    Got one from Aldi very similar if not identical (albeit not "authentic Mexican") for $89.95. Considering Hammocks Australia are selling the stand alone "on special" for $189.95 you can decide if it's worth it. I doubt anybody will be racing to get one this time of year so I suggest waiting for Spring/Summer when Aldi may bring out their hammock a 3rd year in a row.

    Note: The photos from the two websites are taken differently and so may be difficult to compare. But the one I have is a perfect match to the HammocksAustralia one as I'm not as tall as the Aldi models.

    Anaconda sell the Tropicana brand double hammock with steel frame for $179.00 which I bought for $100.00 on special. Been using it for more than a year now and still no signs of wear and tear…

    Hi, thanks for your comments. As noted by others you can get these stands elsewhere and it always pays to shop around. So if you can do better, please go for it. Just remember to ensure you are comparing the same thing, our stand is the larger 3m version (most of the others around are 2.5m) so is much better for those longer hammocks.

    Sure you can also easily get the mass produced fabric hammocks cheap as chips, but if you are after a top-quality and extremely comfortable hammock then you can't beat a handmade Mexican hammock. Plus you get free shipping Australia wide on this deal.
