I ordered a new TV in the boxing day sales and wanted to upgrade the old HDMI cables running in our wall cavity to allow 4k / 120hz etc.

After searching around for a while, I stumbled on this 3 pack of 3m certified cables for $41.99. The price jumped back up to $129 shortly after noticed they've recently dropped back down to $41.99.

Seems like a good price for certified, 3 metre cables.

I am glad that they have been certified to be HDMI cables.

    • 2.1 / 48gbps is far from a given, but yeah english is a pain

    • A regulatory hurdle with certification stickers for additional assurance

Good seeing the mainstream market uplift compared to previously more luck of the draw cables a couple years ago

  • Shows $118.45.
Was it a price error or is someone having fun with price, moving it back snd forth?

  • Just got one thanks OP. But now it's OOS

that sounds like what happened with me. They drop the price, sell 1 at that price and then immediately put it back up.

glad you got a pack, but sorry to everyone else

For $11.14, 3m, this one seems worth a shot. "Certified". https://www.amazon.com.au/Certified-48Gbps-Compatible-Consol…

It would be better if the Certification body listed the actual certified brand/model cables on their website for customers to checkagainst. Otherwise anyone can claim certified and sell product until Amazon closes them down.

  • I am looking for certified 2.1 but about 9-10 metres.

Whirlpool gives me options in the $multiples of hundreds, what can Ozbargain provide?

this is what i purchased august last year. runs from our study PC under the house and to the tv in the living room

edit: hmm doesn't look certified though, but it seems well reviewed and works perfectly for me

      • I knew this was the place to ask. I don't think it needs to be certified, that was also a Whirlpool recommendation.

Thank you and a thumbs up right back at you.

You will find most "certified" cables do 4K @ 120hz over 10 feet or less.

Nearly all don't work above 10 feet long unless they are active.

I have these in 7.5m lengths and they are good
