      Pretty sure the difference is indicated by the capitalisation of the B (in mb) rather than if it has a slash or not.

      E.g.
      megabyte per second (MBps, MB/s)
      megabit per second (Mbps, Mb/s)

        B = byte
        b = bit.
        There is 8 bits in a byte. That's why you divide your internet speed by 8 and that's the MB you get per second

    • Yes, just as 1 kg of wool is different than 1 kilogram of steel, right??? /s

      • +1

        What about steel wool though?

        • That is some question that rocket scientists have to answer to!

      • Yes they are different. One is wool, the other is steel.

  • Good price on 128GB, 3camel shows lowest at $3x on Amazon.

  • I prefer the Samsung Bar. Similar speed but more convenient size.

    • The original Samsung Bar USB 3.0 was great, then they revised it with some slower flash, I can compare two of them, one is horrid.
      The Samsung Bar Plus USB 3.1 is hopefully better.

    128GB for $18.05 it's a bargain for me!!!

    Just picked up a 128GB from a local store, it is tiny. The lanyard holes can only fit in very thin lanyard.

    • can the lid be lost?

      prefer ones with no lid or built in so it can't be lost.

      • Yes. So I think one way to prevent is to tie the lanyard across both the lid and the flash drive.

        • +1

          yeah interesting idea

          still not a fan of these separate lids flashdrives..
          it will be a extra dangly bit which you need to move around
          while you are plugging them into the usb port which may already have very tight spaces..

          samsung should make them with no lid or use the slider lid design.

  • Is the coupon working for anyone? I'm trying to get the 256GB version on ebay

    • Looks like maybe eBay pulled that code. It just said limited time. If you have eBay plus you might be able to use PLUSJAN1.

    FYI, the 128GB version is click and collect only.

    Being the lazy arse that I am, that saved me buying another something I didn't need…

  • 3 weeks later and still not dispatched.

    Bing Lee says no stock whilst they continue to sell it at full price.

    • Mine appears to be lost in transit….
